My Cute Little Ducks

Very beautiful beyond words

my cute little pet ducks,

in Chashme Zeb lake they frolic in whirls

and they always bring me so much good luck.

Every morning and evening

I feed them freshly made chapatis,

they gobble them up very happily

and leave behind few or no grubs strictly.

When I call them ever so softly

they answer me with their " quack quack " very loudly,

and they come to me quickly

and expectantly wait to be fed fully.

The water – hens and squirrels

with my ducks they compete,

and sometimes steal the grubs stealthily

which they quickly gobble up and eat happily.

My pet ducks are four in number

two black and white, one grey and one brown,

all of them are so beautiful and cute

they are all the talk of the town.
