Raj and Simran, are very young people living in the United Kingdom. Raj is the only son of a wealthy Indian man. Simran meets Raj on a trip to different European countries. After some initial fun and games, they eventually fall in love. Simran goes home and tells her family about her. Her father does not want her to involve herself with a marriage based on love. He is determined that she marry his best friend's son Kuljeet. This is the man she has been promised to since she was born. Her mother wants the best for Simran, but cannot change the father’s mind. Even though Simran doesn't agree to the marriage, her family prepare for the wedding. But Raj does not give up so easily.
