At the heart of WaterSound is Village Commons, the community activity center. Offering a zero entry pool, with oversized deck, a playground, grills, game room, mail center, events lawn, and a 4 acre park, this natural retreat one of a kind, and the perfect escape for the residents and vacationers to WaterSound.
Parks and Trails
There are 4 main parks in WaterSound, the first being located at Village Commons. The next is the 3.5 acre Wind Garden Park. This park features a soccer field, and wind sculptures. Other parks include the Woodland and Cresent Parks. Walking, Hiking, and Biking trails can be found all throughout WaterSound, as well as every community along 30A. Walking and biking are some of the most common method of transportation, and have plenty of trails specially built just for those who wish to walk or ride instead of drive.
Golf
WaterSound, just like most of the small towns and special built communities in the area, has its own golf course. The Origins Golf Club is a 6 hole regulation course that can also play as a 9 hole executive, or even a 10 hole, par 3. Originally designed as a short course concept, this course offers players challenging twists, lies, and challenges with both water holes and sand traps, with interesting elevation changes and constantly changing greens.
