True Blood Tattoo Ideas
The Best True Blood Tattoos
Are you a Truebie like me? Maybe you're looking for a True Blood tattoo idea that is both sinister and succulent? I've surfed the web and done some serious research in order to find the hottest and most seductive True Blood tattoos and True Blood tattoo ideas out there.
If you're a die-hard True Blood fan, you will surely remember the quiet, yet sexy and serene Godric. He was Eric's maker and favorite vampire, best friend, and father of sorts. Godric's tattoos struck me immediately as gorgeous and unique. The sort-of-tribal looking tattoos jaggedly wrapped around his left bicep stood out in a tough "I'd like to eat you but I won't" way. Out of the tattoo-ed characters that have graced the bodies of the True Blood characters, Godric's are a True Blood favorite.
Of course, you can find inspiration for your tattoo in almost any aspect of the True Blood series. Pick a portrait of your favorite character, would it be Sookie, Bill, Eric? Tara, Lafayette, or Sam? Jessica, Queen Sophie-Anne, or Pam? Maryann or Arleen? Hoyt or Jesus? I could go on and on...so pick your most cherished True Blood character and get it plastered on that blank canvas of a body!
Another great idea for a True Blood tattoo is the True Blood symbol—the plump red lips with tongue and dripping blood, as tattooed on the girl's wrist here. While I wouldn't get this tattooed on my wrist, I might think about getting it on the back of my shoulder or calf or maybe my hip. Get it larger or smaller, either way, this tattoo screams True Blood fan!
And of course, let's not forget the ever-appealing fang-marks on the neck. I don't recommend this tattoo if you have to work in a professional environment that doesn't particularly care for tattoos, but people who have more leeway at their jobs would do just fine with this tattoo. Just be prepared to explain it, like all of the time. Maybe people will even think that it's real! You'll have to explain that you're a truebie almost everyday, but maybe that's the point?
Other ideas include Jesus' Jaguar tattoo or even the lyrics of the opening credits' song "Bad Things". Be creative and be a truebie!
Sookie Portrait Tattoo Ideas
My favorite True Blood character is definitely Sookie, and if I was a man, I'd think about getting a portrait of Sookie on my back or bicep. How about this lovely picture of Sookie above? She looks absolutely sexy and stunning and this would make a perfect portrait tattoo! Take this picture to a very talented tattoo artist, and I can guarantee that they can replicate it.
Another great picture to use as a Sookie tattoo is the Sookie-at-Merlotte's picture posted above. If anyone has ever seen True Blood, they'll recognize your Sookie portrait tattoo anywhere, anytime. Of course, it's all up to you what your favorite picture is but this tattoo idea should be considered for any die-hard Sookie fan.
Bill & Eric Tattoo
More Tattoo Ideas: Bill & Eric
If you are caught up in that ever-raging war between Bill Compton and Eric Northmann, why not get a memorial of the two gorgeous vamps as your personal True Blood tattoo? Nothing commemorates their life-long fight better than the infamous Eric and Bill scene posted above.
There are so many various scenes that a Truebie could use as inspiration for a True Blood tattoo. Make sure you'll love the tattoo forever, whether it's a portrait or a symbol and get it somewhere that can be covered up if you work in a strict professional environment. And watch out...once someone sees your tattoo and knows that you're a Truebie, word might get out to the vampire community that you're a willing donor!

I've never watched Vampire Diaries because I was scared it would be like Twilight and I'm not a Twilight fan in the least. Maybe I'll try it out, since you say it's good. :) Thanks, Nell!

Meisjunk - Godric was pretty dope. I have to agree with that. His tattoos were awesome, too. I need to see your 5th element tattoo! That sounds too cool. Which harry potter tattoos did you get? I would love to get one of pam's hot sayings tattooed on me! :) Thanks for voting and commenting, yet again. You rock.

"I'd like to eat you but I won't." XD Godric is my second favorite vampire (behind Eric). I adore him and his neck tattoo (the one on his front that looks like a necklace?), and ugh. He's hot. =D I've never thought of getting of a True Blood tat. I've got two Harry Potter ones and one Fifth Element one...hmmm. Brilliant as usual. =P Voted up and a myriad of other things.
