The picture shown above is that of rescuers trying to help a humpback whale back into the sea from the Geriba beach in Buzios which is 190 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro. This took place on October 26 2010. The sad part is that the rescue workers were not able to save the humpback whale even after several attempts.
