There is a big question everyone is asking about,” Where to travel after pandemic? What is the best destination to travel in 2022? And so on. ” . Traveling has been restricted all over the world and people have been locked in their homes for past two years. As the global travel restrictions are being lifted, people are starting to get out of their homes and seeking newer and exotic holiday destinations. There are many amazing travel destinations in the world; however Nepal is among the best places to travel in the world.

Firstly, Nepal’s towering mountain peaks including Mt.Everest attracts people from all over the world and is on the bucket list of many adventure seekers. The geographical feature of this Himalayan country is a very unique in the world, as it is divided in three main regions i.e. Northern Alpine, Central Hilly and Southern Plains. The altitude range varies from 60m to 8884m above the sea level and the distance between these two points is just around 200 km.

This creates a diverse climatic zones resulting in diverse flora and fauna to flourish. The Bio diversity of this small Himalayan land is one of its major attractions for wildlife enthusiasts and explorers from all over the world. Here lie multiple national parks, conservation areas, wildlife reserves and wetlands playing a major role in the conservation of wildlife and nature. Chitwan National Park, Bardiya National Park, Sagarmatha National Park and Koshi Tapu Wildlife reserve are the major tourist destination. Some of endangered species like Snow Leopard, Red Panda, Bengal Tiger, Musk Deer, Asiatic Elephant, One Horned Rhinoceros, and many other species call this country home. This allows tourists to choose from wide variety of wildlife tours and birding tours.

Apart from Natural attractions, Nepal serves as a diverse cultural museum to people of all races and origin worldwide. With people of more than 100 ethnic groups and 123 languages, it is a rich country in regard to culture and history. The capital city Kathmandu is, known as the city of temples houses seven world heritage sites listed in UNESCO, the three Palace Squares, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath , Bouddhanath , Changunarayan depict the rich history of art and architecture of medieval Nepal.

The major activities are the cultural tours and multi city tours. The most famous being the World Heritage Cultural tour which encompasses all the UNESCO listed World Heritage sites. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha is a major pilgrimage site to explore where thousands of travelers and pilgrims visit each year. Pashupatinath and Muktinath are more famous amongst the Hindu pilgrims however these sites are visited by people of other religious and non-religious groups of tourists. Pokhara falls among the most visited and cleanest cities in Nepal for; it is a city with all-inclusive package where a traveler can experience scenic Mountain views, green hills, and jaw dropping viewpoints, various lakes and rivers.

People planning mountaineering, peak climbing, trekking and hiking trip in the mountains do literally refer Nepal as a paradise. Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit trek are the most famous hiking trips in Nepal. Besides, there are hundreds of similar adventure destinations including off the beaten trekking trips. Some of them are Upper Mustang trek, Langtang trek, Manaslu Circuit trek and so forth. However in recent years, the Far West region and the Far East region is gaining popularity as the new adventure holiday destinations.
