CN Tower Toronto

I like to take pictures and make videos of our family vacations and share them.

One of our stops during our stay in Toronto was CN Tower. CN Tower or Canadian National Tower, stands a whopping 1,815 feet tall.

When you visit CN Tower you can take an elevator to one of the observation levels to get a bird's eye view of Toronto. For the most part, for me it was similar to our visit to the Empire State Building in New York. Once you are that high, you cant really tell the difference.

One of the features that CN Tower has that the Empire State Building does not, is a glass floor. The entire floor is not glass, there are small sections that are glass for visitors to take photos on.

For the truly brave, there is EdgeWalk, were visitors can take a 116 story walk around the edge of the deck. Not only a walk, but a hands-free walk, while leaning backward with only a harness holding you. Nobody in my family did EdgeWalk, nor would I have allowed them to.

The 114th Story

The elevator takes you to the main observation level, and fast. My ears popped on the way up. There are also windows, so you can see the city the entire ride.

My photos have a bit of a glare from the glass, but you get the idea.

The Outdoor Sky Terrace

The outdoor sky terrace has a mesh screen, so photos aren't as good, but you are outside.

The Glass Floor

Then you have the tower's infamous glass floor, as I mentioned earlier. I would not get on it, but everyone else did, including my kids. I was not happy at all and was almost in tears. My youngest wanted a picture on it and I was pleading with her to get off of it. My family was laughing at me.

My husband ended up taking the photos because I was in an all-out panic. The angles in the photos above with my daughter, dont capture what was beyond the glass. The photo below shows what was beneath her.

EdgeWalk

If you were interested in doing EdgeWalk, I found a video on YouTube of people doing it. Personally, you couldn't pay me enough, but there are people who love a thrill. The video is below.

The Tower at Night

Unfortunately we did not get to see the city from the tower at night. We thought it would take a while to get to the top. However there were no lines and we got up there pretty quickly. We ended up leaving at dusk. The photos below are before we went in and when we were leaving.

Downtown Toronto

During our trip we visited several places. Yonge–Dundas Square is like a smaller Times Square. They also have some incredible food, I had no idea. Below is a video from our stay in Toronto.

Have you visited CN Tower?

Wow. Not sure I would want to go there, but good lens. Blessed.
