The Vikos Gorge is a gorge in northern Greece's Pindus Mountains. It extends for nearly 20 kms along the southern slopes of Mount Tymfi, with a depth ranging from 450 to 1600 metres and a width ranging from 400 meters to a few meters at its narrowest point.

The Vikos Gorge is a popular spot for a number of activities. Hiking is the most popular activity in the area, aside from climbing and mountain biking. Many clubs organize walking excursions along Zagoria's paved paths on a frequent basis. Zagoria's famous stone bridges and Byzantine monasteries, as well as visit to scenic villages, are also included in the excursions. It is, however, quite unsafe to attempt it alone, as it is very easy to become disoriented. Hiking near Vikos Gorge necessitates the use of a guide at all times.
Vikos National Park
The park, which was established in 1973, is one of ten national parks in mainland Greece and is located 40 kilometers north of Ioannina in the Pindus mountain and encompasses an elevation range of 550 to 2,497 meters, is part of the Natura 2000 ecological network and a UNESCO Geopark (1,804 to 8,192 ft).
