Vacation Tips

One of the things I love the most is to catch fresh air, see the beauty of the world and have the utmost fun without worries

Vacation is one of the most favorite times for every family to spend because it is when swimming all day and partying all night happens, specifically during summer (some parents even join the party). During vacation, all fun moments can be felt anywhere or with anyone you spend. There are beaches, cold and hot springs, mountains, cultural exhibitions, festivals, and other natural treasures that many wonderful places can offer. Vacation is truly something that can pay off all those hard days at school, work, and places that cause stress and problems. So, the question is how can you spend a vacation without worries? Or let’s say, how can you spend it worthy and wisely?

Here are some tips on ensuring a grand vacation, as well as how to save money during vacation:

If you decide to take the car for your vacation trip, remember these check list. (For families planning to have one)

1. Check your car's tires

It is important to check your car’s tires whether its capacity can still hold for long distance trips and heavy loading to ensure safe and money saving outings. Nobody would ever want to take a break then spend the whole time in vulcanizing shop to change your tire instead of jumping in pools or cliffs.

2. Check your car’s brakes

Also, before leaving, check your car’s brakes to avoid accidents. Since cars with malfunctioning brakes are common reasons for such tragic events and nobody would ever want that to happen. This will also guarantee your family’s safety and will save you from additional expenses, like hospital bills.

3. Check your car’s fuel

Make sure that before you hit the road, to check on your fuel whether it is sufficient for the trip or needs to be refilled. You should always secure a car with a full gas tank because precious moments in such a short vacation deserve no space for any wasted time in fuel stops and other unwanted scenarios regarding its fuel.

4. Check on the car’s oil

Moreover, ensure that your car is functioning well by checking its engine sound and oils. It is better if you change your old oil to a new one to ensure a safe ride. Even though it will cost you a little, it’s still worthy because it guarantees the safety of your travel.

5. Check your car’s documents

Well, this is just an optional tip but better to follow. Make sure you bring with you all the documents that would certify the legality of your driving and the car.

List all things you need to bring while your on trip.

Before leaving take note of these:

1. Make a list of all the things you need to bring. "What to bring List"

Making a list secures you and your family all the things you need. And to avoid further worries that would cause disturbance in your relaxation and fun. Similarly, forgetting something while you’re in the middle of your vacation would cost you more since you’ll have to buy a new one. Another thing which is very necessity these days is to never forgets to bring your magic cards (Debit or Credit cards) and extra cash for pocket money and allowances.

2. Check all the things you listed in your what to bring list if all are properly packed.

After listing all the things, you need to bring. Check them all if you have successfully packed them in proper condition to prevent spoilage if it is food, and damage if it is a thing. Securing your needs would save you money. Since no further spending would incur in relation to your needs that you can bring.

3. Make sure all electricity plugs are unplugged or turned off.

It is very important to do this every time you leave. Not only at times you’re taking a vacation but every time you’re not around. Because turning off all things that requires electricity to operate would ensure safety to you and your property. Since leaving it on, appliances would overheat and can cause fire. And fire can cause financial and property damage on you. So, if you don’t want to see on the news the headline saying “A house owned by Paolo was burned due to unplugged Appliances” make sure you unplug and turn them all off. Of course, you should follow proper instructions on how to properly secure appliances stated by its manufacturer. Also, securing it would also save you more money since electric bill would be less.

4. Check your fire security system (if you own one)

Modern houses own amazing fire security system that detects smoke that can lead to fire. So, for instance you should also check whether the system is operating or functioning well for it to detect fire. While for those with none like me, we should inform our neighbors that we are taking a vacation trip for them to look after. (Literally look after in the sense of just for any emergency)

5. Check if all water sources are properly secured for leakage

Furthermore, you must secure all faucets or other water source in your house to avoid leakage and worse minor floods. Once you forget to close all water sources and leakage starts to leak, your property might get wet and broke. Such as sofa, electrical wiring appliances and other staff that is prone to water destruction. So, securing it prevents additional cost for property repair or re-acquisition.

6. Secure your security system

After securing your house against fire you should also ensure its safety against burglar. If you can, installing security camera would also help for you to guard your own property even your away. But I guess firstly assure a good relationship to your neighbors for them to watch over temporarily.
