I'm sharing my visit to the royal and renowned destinations of London.
Escaping from the hot summers in my hometown, I left my home to visit Europe. London is the center of tourist attraction for many like us.
Since my childhood, I have had a craze to visit London town. We learned about the British Empire in the Nursery Rhymes like these: "Pussycat, pussycat, Where have you been?; London Bridge is falling down, Oranges and Lemons and such. London was more amazing than what I had picturized in my mind about it.
London fascinates us right from history books to Mr. Bean Show. Watching Rowan Atkinson's "Mr. Bean" series amplified my attraction to go and visit London someday.
The beautiful tower bridge of London stands on the River Thames since 1894. This bridge is one of the famous landmarks in London. It is sometimes confused with London Bridge. This bridge was built in a Victorian Gothic style.
Tower Bridge is located close to the Tower of London from which it got its name. People from all over the globe come to see this famous bridge and capture its beauty in cameras. Seeing this exceptional bridge was a dream-come-true moment for me.
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Years ago, I was watching the news about the wax museum on TV. I wished to go to this place someday. I was lucky to be there in May 2019.
Our Europe tour started with a visit to the wax museum. The weather was quite cold. Everybody was wearing warm jackets.
I was fascinated as I entered the museum. Marilyn Monroe, the Spellbinding American star of the 50s and 60s era welcomed us with her attractive smile. There was a huge crowd gathered around her wax model to grab a selfie. I was lucky to have her wax model's photo. The Hollywood stars made from wax were very finely detailed.
The entire Museum was adorned with Hollywood celebrities, world-famous Musicians, Sports Personalities, Political leaders, kings, queens, and Bollywood stars.
I Walked around models of famous personalities like Emma Watson, Angelina Julie, Leonardo Di Capri, The Beatles, Hrithik Roshan, Sachin Tendulkar, Jack Sparrow, London's Queen and her royal family, Robert Downey Jr. and many other celebrities. It made me feel like a star.
Later, we went to a 360-degree 4D cinema hall to watch Marvel's movie. The fight scene felt realistic due to the immersive ambiance. As if we were in the world of Spider-man, Hulk, Iron-Man, and other heroes and villains of Marvel movies.
We left the Museum and walked up to a snack stall. There were two good-looking British girls at the stall inviting the Indian Tourists in the Hindi language. I was fascinated. I took a coffee there.
On the bank of the River Thames lies the biggest tourist attraction of the United Kingdom, "The London Eye"
We were waiting in a long queue with excitement to enter into the capsules of the giant "London Eye".
It's a 30-minute circular ride that gives you a panoramic view of London's cityscape. The Coca-Cola capsule has a capacity of lifting 25 people.
Watching famous locations like, "The Thames", the gem of London, and "Big Ben", the clock tower, from the London Eye is like caramel on the cake.
As the capsule started going up, my excitement was amplified by the beautiful riverscape of the Thames. I grabbed photos of the spectacular view of London city.

Many people come here to chill out. Social activities, street performances, groups protesting against some issues, and much more, makes the place quite bustling.
We clicked the photos at the fountain and the Lion sculptures. There is a big national gallery at Trafalgar square where you can find the masterpieces of all-time great artists.
Nelson's column, sculptures of four lions, and the four plinths enhance the architectural beauty of the place.
Watching the crowd shots of Trafalgar Square on TV during the cricket World Cup, 2019, made me feel nostalgic. I wished to be with the people enjoying the live match on huge screens. However, I was happy to be back there a few days ago.
The square's main attraction just like Times New Square in New York is to socialize, entertain the tourists, and celebrate. The atmosphere at the square is quite vibrant.
Buckingham Palace is the house for the majority of royal events in London. It's one of the residences of Queen Elizabeth II.
To know whether the queen is in the palace, you must take a look at the flag. If there is no Royal Standard flag then the queen is not at her house. If it is present then the queen is at her house.
The union flag is always above the palace. You can't guess the queen's presence solely based on the union flag at the top.
The palace has 775 rooms. Just guess how huge the palace is. The area at the Victoria Memorial in front of the palace is crowded with tourists. The architecture of the palace is phenomenal.
As we reached the palace, we saw the changing guards. My curiosity was picking to see these guards as I have watched a royal guard in Mr. Bean's show.
Tower Of London
Tower of London is a historic castle, well known for its jeweled crowns and infamous ravens. It is said that if the ravens here vanish or fly away, then the tower, as well as the British Empire, will fall.
The diamonds on the crowns kept inside the palace lightened up the eyes of hundreds of tourists. The Jewel house contains many jeweled crowns including the Precious Kohinoor Diamond.
The guardians of the Tower of London are called " Yeomen Warders". They attract the attention of tourists.
If you are a lover of bar culture, London is one of the ideal places for you. This good old city has more than 3000 pubs. There are many historic bars too. To my surprise, the oldest pub in London is from the 13th century.
London is indeed a dream city. It has one of the best climates in the world. The infrastructure of this city is excellent.
Education in London is considered prestigious as it is the home to a few best universities in the world. Cambridge and Oxford are the topmost universities.
This city has a lot to offer. Just like Samuel Johnson says, "when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life", you do not feel like leaving this city. Plan a trip to London. Indeed, an awestruck experience!
