I am a passionate traveler and I have visited a lot of beautiful places. What I had not seen all of these years was located just in front of my nose: my beautiful country of Serbia.

Since its inception in the 9th century, Serbia has been conquered many times, it was 500 years under the Ottoman Empire and at the crossroads of trade routes between the West and the Far East. Seventeen Roman emperors were born on the territory of present-day Serbia. This mixture of various cultures and tradition, left indelible marks.

The climate is mostly continental or moderate continental with hot summers and cold winters. Average temperature in July is 30°C in December about 3°C. The best time to visit is late May and the beginning of June.

Geography is extremely varied. From the endless Slavonian plains in the north, across the fertile fields and green forests in central Serbia, to the ancient mountains in the southeast.

Serbs are very warm and hospitable people, most of them speaks English and will gladly help you.

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to live in Serbia. Hope some of you, once in a lifetime will come here and see all those beauties with your own eyes. The enchanting beauty of unspoiled nature.

Since the Mediana is located in a valley, a strategic totally defenseless against attacks by barbarian tribes, it is strange that Konstantin one of the most experienced Roman military leaders, decided to do just at that place, unless there were some valid and unusual reasons. And which they could be? The mystery becomes slightly larger after in 1972 when scientists for the first time conducted a serious archaeological excavation that reveal under the ground incredibly beautiful mosaics in the entire complex of the former Roman villa. To make the story about the secrets of Mediana be complete, we should mention the village about twenty kilometers from Mediana, named Jagličje. If Erich von Daniken had more time, he could take a picture of Jagličju another collection from five, many times described the mysterious stone balls identical to those found in Costa Rica, Peru and Mexico. The ones that are at the top of the hilly plateau called "Sokolov Reef" have a very large diameter of as much as two meters from unknown rock. No one knows who, why and when somebody did that? There are even stories about it. However, because there are records, many stories and testimonies from generation to generation, that the above Jagličja (what a strange name) in the past appeared "fire wagon" and floated "lighting of the church," which illuminated the night sky.
