The First Travelling Impressions
The first impressions are probably different for all types of tourists. Personally, when arrived in a foreign country, I asked myself whether I really was abroad or not. I did not ask myself this question because of the fact that the environment was familiar to the environment of my country, but because I managed to take the first steps myself. If you asked me to compare this experience to anything, I would compare it to the first time attempt at skiing. Maybe, other people associate these types of impressions with just pleasure and nothing special but While travelling, I was looking for something different from my lifetime experience. Additionally, I wanted to escape from a daily routine. My goal was to meet people from different countries with various cultural background. Memories from my first journey made my second journey even more interesting, inspiring and challenging. These journeys opened up new challenges in my life but they were transformed into a comfort zone later. Harmless attempts often bring results and promote sustainable development in many peoples’ lives. Traveling became a new point of attraction for me to develop, to escape from the daily routine and meet different nations. When I was in Athens and looking at the Acropolis, the ancient civilization was revived in front of me. Under the Acropolis, you can see the oldest Amphitheater. You can revive performances that were performed here in your imagination. You can see the whole Athens from the Acropolis which is mostly white.
I had different impressions when I visited Austria, Vienna. You have a great feeling when you are convinced that this city is the main contributor of the European culture. Everything is sophisticated here. Very impressive was to see the Natural Histrory Museum which was also called ‘’Museum in Museum’’. This museum has the biggest potential from the scientific point of view. An ordinary traveler can deepen knowledge in different directions.
I am under great impressions about the museums of Albertina and Leopold. I saw the masterpieces of Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Rubens, Picasso, Chagall, Klimt and etc. Certainly, everybody will be impressed when they see Saint Stephen’s Cathedral.
These impressions would be much deeper and more different, but I have stopped traveling temporarily because of harsh pandemic situation all around the world. When I came home after my second journey, I started planning my next journey but the virus spread massively and the flights were banned. What makes me mostly sad is that we can’t travel freely and safely. However, we can use this situation for better aims, for example - We can travel around our country in order to know it better. Such travelling will open up additional opportunity for local entrepreneurs. People can make their life more valuable in this way.
Hopefully, we never stop travelling in the future.
