Travel Preparation to Palawan
There are lots of Palawan package tours offered with starting point in Manila Ninoy International Airport. It really depends on the traveller if one wants an agency to organize the tour rather than individual. Arranged agency tour is more expensive than making own arrangements, though one can spare the hazzle and time. We preferred individual tour which is more relaxing, we choosed our hotel, flight and tour, reserved relax days.
Flying to Puerto Princesa with domestic airlines like Cebu Pacicfic, Philippine Airlines, is a good starting point of our Palawan Tour. The airline retour tickets are cheaper than one way ticket. Take this option if you want to return back to Puerto Princesa after the tour, which is time consuming with 6 hours Van travel from El Nido, unless you booked a flight back which you might spare time but cost much.
We booked our return flight from Coron to Manila. In our option was Manila Domestic airport where we had to ride a free shuttle to Manila Ninoy International Airport.
If you are unsure where to go on your connecting flights, always ask the friendly security guards and assistance personals and for sure you will be very comfortable in Manila International & Domestic Airports. Have patience as you proceed to other airport terminals and have enough time intervals catching your connecting flights. International at least 3 hours, Domestic 2 hrs, due to delayed or changes in flight schedules.
If you are from Europe, USA or other countries, it is advisable to book your airline tickets earlier where you can find more promotional sale in skyscanner.com, supersaver.com, lastminute.de, trip.com, momondo.ch or other agencies. Take time to research the prices and decide the cheaper one if you find a good offer. The good offers will disappear in 15 minutes time, so be fast with your decision.
Domestic Airlines have also promotional ticket prices. If you are a retired senior Philippine citizen, you can have ticket, hotel, food discounts. A Senior Citizen ID is needed.
The tour prices are cheaper online than in hotels. Look for Philippine Tour Agencies, some tour ticket are refundable depending on the weather condition.
Don't forget to get a travel insurance which covers flight, ferryboat, hotel cancelations, health, baggage etc. Keep updated of the actual travel obligatory documents required.
Be aware that Domestic baggage are a bit expensive, some agencies have different prices. Handbagge of 7 kilos is free and comfortable to carry on your tour. Some online agencies give discounts to card holders in buying airline tickets and some includes handbaggage and checkin baggage of 20 kilos. Most international Airlines includes 20 - 30 kilos checkin baggage, so be aware when you book Domestic flights and don't forget to buy your checkin baggage allowance.

I have lots to share about my hometown and family in another hub.
