I love Amsterdam, a pulsating city. Try the delicious Gouda cheese. Don't miss to visit the tulip fields and the souvenir shops.

Flight From Zürich International Airport to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
On a calm early thursday morning, we departed from Bern to Zurich International Airport Terminal B by train. Our tour guide from the tour agency welcomed us in our meeting point. We did our baggage check-in followed by passport and scan control. Zürich has nice shops in the departure area, so we spent free tax shopping as we waited for our boarding time.
Our departure time was 8:30 a.m. with Air Holland. On board the friendly the flight attendants served tasty snacks and drinks.
The 1 hour and 45 minutes flight was very comfortable and we arrived in Amsterdam at 10:45 a.m..
After completing the immigration formalities, we transfered to our ship hotel with a bus trip and check-in in our cozy cabin room.
We started our Holland Tour Adventure in Amsterdam.

The Red City
If you are curious about what is in the Red City then you have to visit the place.
The Red Light District
De Wallen, also known as Walletjes or Rosse Buurt, is a legalized prostitution area, the largest and most well known red-light district in Amsterdam. One could see hundreds of sex workers in an illuminated red light window or glas door displaying themselves, who offer their services behind the windows a part of a room or one-room appartment they rented. Here are also sex shops, sex museum and live shows of different clubs. This district has become a famous tourist attraction.
The red-light district was included in our tour together with a Japanese group. We entered ln a club and we were surprised as we saw the live show one you can't imagine. All the Japanese women, i and my friend covered our eyes so not to see what was happening but still we have seen some part of the show. We were disgusted and went out of the club. This was part of our unforgetable experience in Amsterdam.
If you are curious, just roam around and see the shops. It is not advisable for conservative tourist.

Hi Carol. Very interesting hub. I know what you are writing about for I often visit my sister in Holland which is only 20 minutes from Amsterdam. Like you, I was disgusted by what I have seen in the red light district. But then that´s the only negative thing I can say about Holland. The country is beautiful in it´s own way. Regards...
