Located along the Danube River, the city has long been known for its beauty, history, architecture, culture, nightlife, food, parks, museums, shopping, and events. Known worldwide for its thermal baths, wine festivals, and world-famous Pesti Festival, Budapest is also home to some of the most historic buildings in Central Europe. The city offers something for everyone.
