As mentioned in my previous articles I love traveling, being able to experience the many wonderful things around the world is a true passion of mine. I am going to talk about some of the most popular tourist attractions in Yukon, and they definitely have something for the entire family to enjoy. I have been to the Yukon three times, and would like to one day to go back. Yukon is truly beautiful, and is mostly known for its minerals.

Vuntut National Park

Vuntut National Park is located in the northern part of Yukon, and was opened back in 1995. The Vuntut National Park is about sixteen hundred and seventy eight miles in size, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Yukon. The Vuntut National Park is a major hub for a lot of culture within Yukon, and has some pretty incredible sceneries.

I have only been to the Vuntut National Park once, and absolutely would love to go back one day. The Vuntut National Park has amazing wildlife you will encounter, and the hiking trails are absolutely amazing. The Vuntut National Park is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and the sunsets you will see are truly breathtaking.

Keno City Mining Museum

Keno City Mining Museum is located in Keno City, and was opened back in 1979. The Keno City Mining Museum has some amazing exhibits that offers incredible history of the gold and silver mining within Yukon, and truly has an amazing history to it. The Keno City Mining Museum is more geared towards the adult generation, and the architecture is pretty cool. I have been to the Keno City Mining Museum three times, and absolutely would love to go back one day. The Keno City Mining Museum holds several amazing events throughout the year, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Carcass Desert

Carcass Desert is located in Carcass, and is about six hundred and forty acres in size. The Carcass Desert has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Yukon, and offers some of the most incredible scenery. The Carcass Desert is the world's smallest desert, and the hiking trails are truly amazing. I have only been to the Carcass Desert twice, and would love to go back one day. The Carcass Desert has some amazing wildlife you will encounter, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

SS Klondike National Historic Site

SS Klondike National Historic Site is located in Whitehorse, and is a stern wheeler which started running in 1929. The SS Klondike National Historic Site offers some incredible scenery, and has an amazing history to it. The SS Klondike National Historic Site has amazing architecture, and runs between whitehorse and Dawson City.

I have been to the SS Klondike National Historic Site three times, and would love to go back one day. The SS Klondike National Historic Site is a very educational experience, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. The SS Klondike National Historic Site sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and would make a fantastic spot if you are on your honeymoon.

Takhini Hot Springs

Takhini Hot Springs is located in whitehorse, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Yukon. The Takhini Hot Springs has two different pools with an amazing campground, and offers some of the most amazing sceneries. The Takhini Hot Springs was built back in 1940, and has an amazing history to it. I have only been to the Takhini Hot Springs once, and would love to go back one day. Yukon Arts Centre

Yukon Arts Centre is located in Whitehorse, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Yukon. The Yukon Arts Centre was opened back in 1992, and truly has an incredible history to it. The Yukon Arts Centre is the home of an incredible theatre and gallery, and is more geared towards the adult generation.

I have only been to the Yukon Arts Centre twice, and would love to go back one day. The Yukon Arts Centre theatre seats about four hundred and twenty eight people, and puts on several amazing live shows. The Yukon Arts Centre has over one hundred visual art pieces that make up it's incredible collection, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Miles Canyon Basalts is located in the south central part of the Yukon, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Yukon. The Miles Canyon Basalts includes basaltic lava flows that stretches across the landscape, and is more geared towards the adult generation. I have been to the Miles Canyon Basalts three times, and would love to go back one day. Schwatka Lake

Schwatka Lake is located in Whitehorse, and was opened back in 1958. The Schwatka Lake is the home of an amazing Dam, and truly has an incredible history to it. The Schwatka Lake has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Yukon, and was actually named after a US Army Lieutenant who for first explored the length of the amazing Yukon River.

I have only been to the Schwatka Lake once, and would love to go back one day. The Schwatka Lake Dam was created to allow salmon to pass through to their spawning grounds in Whitehorse, and also is the longest freshwater route. The Schwatka Lake offers some of the most amazing sceneries, and it is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Mount Logan

Mount Logan is located in the southwestern part of the Yukon, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Yukon. Mount Logan is actually the highest mountain in Canada, and the second highest peak within North America. Mount Logan offers some incredible scenery, and is over nineteen thousand feet tall. I have only been to Mount Logan once, and would love to go back one day. The Mount Logan has the largest circumference of any non-volcano in the whole world, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.
