As mentioned in my previous hubs I love traveling, being able to experience the many wonderful things around the world is a true passion of mine. I am going to talk about some of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut, and they definitely have something for the entire family to enjoy. I have been to Nunavut five times, and would really like to go back one day. Nunavut is truly beautiful in many ways, and is mostly known for its incredible history.

Auyuittuq National Park

Auyuittuq National Park is located in Cumberland Peninsula, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut. The Auyuittuq National Park was opened back in 1972, and has an incredible history to it. The Auyuittuq National Park has over eighty two hundred acres in size, and has some incredible scenery as well.

I have only been to the Auyuittuq National Park once, and would love to go back one day. The Auyuittuq National Park has many attractions throughout the area that you will truly love, and the wildlife you will encounter is absolutely amazing. The Auyuittuq National Park has incredible agriculture, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary

Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary is located in Southampton Island, and was opened back in 1965. The Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut, and truly has an amazing history to it. The Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary was created for the protection of the nesting grounds of the Black - Legged Kittiwake, Greater Snow Goose, and the Thick Billed Murre, and is over forty eight hundred acres in size.

I have been to the Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary four times, and would love to go back one day. The Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary has some incredible scenery, and is not only a fun experience but is also very educational. The Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and has some of the most amazing agriculture as well.

Saint Jude's Anglican Cathedral

Saint Jude's Anglican Cathedral is located in Iqalait, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut. The Saint Jude's Anglican Cathedral was built back in 1972, and truly has an amazing history to it. The Saint Jude's Anglican Cathedral has some amazing architecture, and holds several amazing events throughout the year. I have only been to the Saint Jude's Anglican Cathedral twice, and would love to go back one day. The Saint Jude's Anglican Cathedral is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and is more geared towards the adult generation.

Houghton Impact Crater

Houghton Impact Crater is located in Devon Island, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut. The Houghton Impact Crater is about fourteen miles in diameter in size, and truly has an incredible history to it. The Houghton Impact Crater of some amazing scenery that surrounds the area, and is over thirty nine million years old. I have been to the Houghton Impact Crater three times, and would love to go back one day. The Houghton Impact Crater is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and is a very educational experience.

I have been to the Nirjutiqavvik National Wildlife Area four times, and would love to go back one day. The Nirjutiqavvik National Wildlife Area has some incredible wildlife you will encounter, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The Nirjutiqavvik National Wildlife Area is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and is a major hub for a lot of culture within Nunavut.

Dewey Soper Migratory Bird Sanctuary

Dewey Soper Migratory Bird Sanctuary is located in Qikiqtaaluk, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut. Wager Bay

Wager Bay is located in Kivallig, and is over eleven hundred miles in size. Wager Bay has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut, and has an amazing history to it. Wager Bay was founded back in 1742, and truly have some amazing sceneries. I have been to Wager Bay four times, and would love to go back one day. Wager Bay sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon it would be one spot you must stop at.

Ovayok Territorial Park

Ovayok Territorial Park is located in Kitikmeat, and is a little over six miles in size. The Ovayok Territorial Park has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nunavut, and has some incredible wildlife you will encounter. The Ovayok Territorial Park has some incredible scenery, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. I have only been to the Ovayok Territorial Park once, and would love to go back one day. The Ovayok Territorial Park sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and would make a fantastic spot if you are on your honeymoon.

Nunavut is truly beautiful, and would make a fantastic spot for a family vacation. I've only been as far north as Attawapiskat, on James Bay, in Ontario. And in Alberta I made it up to Jasper. Would love to make it further North. The more North, the better is my opinion. Haha!! Maybe one day I'll make it to Nunavut. It'd be nice.
