Australia is one of the smallest of the seven continents, and it’s surrounded by water. Australia covers the whole continent, no country in the world that covers the whole continent. Australia is located under Asia in the Southern Hemisphere. Australia also has its nickname “land down under” life in Australia is very unusual. In the southern part stars and constellations appear upside down and reversed compared to the Northern part. This is because the earth turns on its axis from the North to the South Pole.
