Based on public opinion and a high influx of excited tourists, we would be taking you on a tour of the top 10 places in the world to visit if you love adventure, ranging from tiny islands to destination states and countries.

1. South Island, New Zealand

New Zealand's South Island is filled with majestic landscapes at every turn, from dramatic mountains to fjords to glaciers. In New Zealand, you can explore the Fiordland National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Area, or gaze at the starry skies at Mount John Observatory. You can also indulge the adventurous part of you in Queenstown, explore two of the most accessible glaciers in the world on the country's west coast, or sample delicious food and wine in the Marlborough region.

2. The Maldives

A must-visit destination! This location in the Indian Ocean is made up of more than 1,000 coral islands. It is home to some of the world’s most luxurious hotel resorts, with white sandy beaches, underwater villas, restaurants, and bright blue waters. Interesting things to do in the Maldives include snorkeling, water tubing, parasailing, etc.

3. Bora Bora

Another location for adventure lovers is Bora Bora. Not only does it possess sheer tropical beauty, but Bora Bora's destination sites are also Matira Beach and the coral gardens. However, the best periods of the year to visit Bora Bora are in November and April. The main languages in Bora Bora are French and Tahitian, although you would find most resort employees speaking English.

Masai Mara in Kenya is a beautiful bio-diverse area and a popular safari destination. It's an opportunity to see the "big five" animals: lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo. The popular times to visit are in July and August. It has truly earned its spot as one of the top 10 places to visit.
Most visitors fly into Nairobi, then take a small bush plane to the Mara. In Masai Mara, you get the best experiences with fresh grassland surrounding you and beautiful animals in view. It is a must-go area for lovers of nature and wildlife.

6. Hong Kong

The sixth on our list of top 10 places to visit is the city of Hong Kong. A visit to the city of Hong Kong, which happens to be the largest city in Asia is a trip you would not want to miss. With its giant skyscrapers and a mix of ancient Chinese history, you get to experience delicious cuisines, ancient and archeological beauty as well as other surreal experiences. The city is divided into two main sections: Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, separated by Victoria Harbour and it is a place to visit to experience rural outlay.

7. Mauritius

Mauritius is surreal! This tiny island nature in the Indian Ocean offers up a low-key vibe and endless turquoise waters perfect for sports like wind and kite-surfing. Mauritius has retained its image as a former colonial trade hub, by being a great supplier of local rum.

8. Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan happens to be the 9th largest country in the world and a major tourist center for explorers and fans of great architecture. Begin from Almaty, the biggest city for clothing markets and upscale restaurants. Then, venture out to the Tian Shan mountains and hike sacred forests where many modern fruit crops were first cultivated.

Bangkok is reportedly the most visited city in the world, thanks to 22 million visitors per year. This turnout is owed to some amazing sites anyone would love to visit like the Wat Arun, the Chao Phraya river, the Chatuchak weekend market (a haven for shopaholics), the Erawan Museum, Bangkok National Museum e.t.c. Bangkok is a place you would want to visit for an enriching and calming experience of a lifetime.
