I love traveling to the countryside. This is the reason why I keep planning road trips to the nearby villages.

Traveling has a lot of advantages. But you have to leverage them by actually traveling and not just by reading the travel blogs. The blogs solely can inspire you to travel, but unless you don't travel you won't be able to experience the benefits.

People's interests related to travel locations differ. Some like the city orientation tours full of hustle and bustle. While others prefer to wander on the beaches. Some are trekkers, while others love to visit the bars and interact with the local people. I'm the guy who loves to escape to the countryside on the weekends.

My friend's circle loves riding on the country roads. Most of us already know the major benefits of traveling. I would like to share some of the benefits you will experience on a countryside trip. Sip your drink. Sit back, relax, and keep scrolling.

A Rural House in India

Benefit 1. You Get Insights On Countryside Life

You won't find a vibrant atmosphere in a country like in a city. But if you want a break from a crowded environment, visiting a nearby country is rejuvenating. Most of today's kids are unknown to the insights of rural life.

I can recall as my 5 years old cousin sister was surprised by the sight of a cow. She lives in the metro and as we were chilling in the back seat of our car, she was happy to see the cow near a village. So far, She had only seen the picture of a cow in her study book.

You can observe many things to observe in a country. For instance, you can notice the dress the rural people wear, the way they talk, the animals they rear, the crops they grow in their fields, and so on. A country trip will not only gives a break from the hectic routine but also provides an in-depth view of its lifestyle.

Benefit 2. You Witness A Heart-Touching Simplicity & Hospitality

Don't you think we have complicated our lives living in the metro? We get freaked out by the first world problems (which are very important to us) like lack of WiFi, no NetFlix, no Instagram likes, and so on.

If you look at the village dwellers you will find that they live more and complain less. That's why the simplicity of their lives impresses us as their blissful faces wear a genuine smile. The hospitality of rural people is rarely noticed around the city side.

Once I traveled with my friend to a country for a night out. The hotel owner warmly welcomed us. After having a delicious meal, we decided to rest. It was the month of December and the winter was unbearable.

We had the blankets but we could not get enough warmth. The owner watching us from a distance, made a bonfire for us. The next day, he offered us a hot tea and as we began leaving he told us to visit again.

He also added that we should let him know if there was any fault in his services. An excellent example of modesty and hospitality, I must say.

Benefit 3. You Get To Taste of the Country Food

Traveling is incomplete without food. A metro city offers a great variety of food. Some restaurants serve a great range of luscious dishes. Comparatively, the items included in the menu of a countryside hotel are less.

But when it comes to taste, many of you will agree with me that the countryside spices make the food delicious. Moreover, if you get a chance to have your meal at your relatives, a newly acquainted person or a friend's home who lives in a rural area, then you are indeed very lucky.

The cook's love reflects in the food you eat. In a country, some traditional methods of cooking food along with homemade spices enhance the taste of the food.

Along with these three benefits of a country tour, you also get fresh air to breathe in. So, there is a meditation-friendly environment in the country. Plus, the nearby nature surrounding the village is spectacular.

The mountains, the waterfalls, the forests, the rivers and the lakes near a village are less traveled but offer a photogenic scenery to click pictures. A pollution-free lifestyle that is simple and genuine touches our hearts.

You've explained the importance of countryside travel with the utmost simplicity through your personal travel experience. It's clear that you like to wander around the places that are full of natural resources and greenery. And so am I.

Most of the people, after living in metros for years, have gained nothing but loads of responsibilities, hectic lifestyle, and mental disorders. It's because they forget that we're the children of mother earth and we shouldn't stay away from nature for long. This is an impressive piece of article, Niks!
