Thank you for publishing this article. It provides ways in which those who are lonely and isolated can stay in contact and still share experiences. I had no idea Netflix created a app that lets you watch movies together. I would still argue that, even with advances in technology, nothing is more healthy than meeting people face-to-face and interacting on a personal basis. The testimonies on how virtual education is several deficient compared to classrooms proves this point. Unfortunately (or fortunately on how you look at it), I'm not advocating we as a society start rushing to meet each other NOW, because some isolation is the price we all must pay to survive this pandemic. However, as we open things back up and begin to recover, technology should be advanced to provide more efficient ways for humans to interact together, not via an LCD monitor. I believe that's the only way to soften the blow of our hidden pandemic of anti-social personality disorder (which was the big problem before Co-Vid hit). Again, thanks for the article and providing knowledge on how we can avoid our loneliness during these trying times.
