How it all started...

I began collecting Pandora last summer in August 2011. My husband and I had just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary and he wanted to buy me something special. I received an e-mail from a local store that sells Pandora that was running a promotion. The promotion was as follows: If you spend $100 on Pandora, you received a $65 silver clasp Pandora bracelet for free. I ended up getting the bracelet for free after he spent over $200 on four charms (two glass, one silver and one two-tone). Thus, began my introduction into charm bracelets.

How I began to use Facebook for Pandora Trading Groups

I am and have been on Facebook for quite sometime. However, when I started my Pandora collection, I had no idea that there was such a high presence of Pandora on Facebook. Social Networking truly has come a long way.

I, first found Pandora (the company, itself) on Facebook. On their Facebook page was where I first heard about Pandora trading groups, where one can buy and/or sell Pandora. I got on those boards as a lark. At first, I was a lurker, but then I made my first purchase, which was a Pandora Pink Silver Showstopper.

From that purchase, I was hooked. Slowly, I began to buy more and then I starting to sell too. It can be quite addictive, but at the same time it is fun to buy and/or sell and be able to change it up for cheaper than retail prices.

Buying and Selling

Well, that purchase was just the beginning, I have purchased and sold a ton over the last 6 months. The first thing, one needs to do of course is belong to Facebook. Then, you will need to search Facebook for Preloved Pandora and Trollbeads Pages.

One group, for Pandora, is Genuine Pre-loved. One for Trollbeads is Just Troll'n Around. These groups are exclusive though and you will need to prove that you are legit and on the up and up. There are many scammers out there who have been banned and they have admins on these boards that will see to it that this remains a safe, friendly place to do business.

The next thing you will need to do is make sure you have a verified, Paypal account that is linked to your bank account to be able to purchase and sell online in a virtual community. Most purchases occur when you see something posted on these boards and can private message the person selling. If you are the seller, you will have to post a pic and prices in the currency of your country that you are selling along with a picture. Be prepared to get private messages for items you are selling. Also, try to answer all inquiries in a polite and prompt time frame.

If you are a friendly person like I am, you may also form some friendships along the way. I have made quite a few friendships with these woman and even attended a local Pandora Meet and Greet in NY City with them. I live in NY, so this was my local Meet and Greet by the way. Even though, I live in NY in the USA, these women come from all over the world. Facebook and these groups are global, so you may actually find friends local to you or friends that span the globe.

Summing it Up

By the way, the Pandora Pink Showstopper is no longer mine, I sold it to a lovely girl in the British UK. However that is besides the point. Just illustrates that just as quickly as one can buy something, they can turn around and sell it on these Facebook Trading Pages. Also, I started with Pandora, but now I also collect Trollbeads too. And as I said there are quite a few groups online for both.

So now that you have a little insight on how to buy and sell Pandora and Trollbeads on Facebook, Happy Trolling!!!

Josh, thank you for finding this one and for commenting here. I love both Pandora and Trollbeads for many reasons now, but a huge reason is that my husband bought me the first in the beginning. That said, he didn't know what he started lol!! But seriously, I love these charms and they have become a real passion for me. Thanks again Josh for everything!!

Steve, I have found that buying/selling on Facebook is not only fairly easy, but quite a bit less hassle than selling on Ebay for instance. You incur only minimal charges on Paypal's side and no fees from Ebay. Definitely look into it. Thanks again for stopping by and your support. It is very much appreciated.

Brilliant! I never considered FB for buying and selling. What a great way to do business. I have loads of PMA books, I wonder if it would work for me?

Oh thank you so much Angela for your comment. I am so happy that you enjoyed this and will possibly print out to reference it. I honestly love buying and selling Pandora and Trollbeads on Facebook and cannot even imagine how I survived without these groups when I first started to collect.
