Toshiba's line of sound bars offer a great deal of flexibility. On the lower end you can just get the primary sound bar, and on the higher end you can get the primary sound bar with a wireless Bluetooth subwoofer. Toshiba sound bars give you an enhanced sound experience with limited equipment that are idea for tighter spaces, or areas where you can't easily hang or place speakers. Alternatively, Toshiba sound bars are an affordable way to boost your audio experience. Common issues with Toshiba sound bars include power problems, Bluetooth issues, sound problems, and more.
- Make sure that both the main Toshiba sound bar and the subwoofer are powered on and that the power cables are firmly connected.
- Check the power cables for damage, especially if you have pets. Animals can chew on cables, ultimately fraying them or cutting them, and causing them not to work.
- If you're trying to power the Toshiba sound bar on with the remote control, walk up to the sound bar and press the physical Standy/On button to see if that works.
- Ensure that the volume is actually turned up. Kids, pets, and any number of other natural causes can result in the volume on your Toshiba sound bar accidentally getting turned down.
- Validate that the Toshiba sound bar is set to output audio from the right source. Double-check the input that your device is connected, and then make sure that's the source your sound bar is set up to play audio from.
- Some video game consoles, Blu-ray players, and other devices have HDMI IN and HDMI OUT ports. If you're connecting that device directly to your Toshiba sound bar, make sure that the HDMI cable connecting the two devices is connected to HDMI OUT on the source device.
- Check to ensure the sound bar isn't muted.
Remote Control Problems
- Try replacing the batteries in your remote control, especially if it's been a considerable period of time since you last changed them.
- Ensure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and your Toshiba sound bar, and that the remote control has a clean line of site to the sound bar.
- Try moving the remote control and the sound bar closer together. Ideally, the two devices should be no greater than 20 feet from each other.
- If there is no audio coming from the subwoofer but there is audio from the primary sound bar, move the sound bar and the subwoofer closer together. Ideally, the sound bar and the subwoofer should be no greater than 10 feet from each other.
- If you have a wireless device connected to the sound bar where you can't hear audio, try un-pairing and then re-pairing the two devices.
- When you attempt to pair a Bluetooth device with your Toshiba sound bar, you'll be prompted for a pass code. At that point, you'll need to enter "0000" as the pass code to connect the two devices.

Can I make the same settings (volume, surround sound mode) apply every time I turn my sound bar on? If so, how? I don't see anything in the manual and have not found it on line yet.

My sound bar SX4250KN has two problems, first one the remote sensor of the sound bar it's not receiving the signal from the remote control, I bought a new remote control, I thought it was damaged, but that's not the problem. And the second one problem the screen has the indicator channels on red color. Can you help me please? I read a lot of time the manual service but I can't find it nothing about when the screen change from green to red color

Possibly you can help. I just replace the wireless modals in sound bar and sub-woofer bcs they wouldn't pair, now they have paired but no sound from sub STILL.
