Review and Opinion
I was immediately drawn to this product by the quality packaging as it sat on the shelf. The slogan "Dare to Listen" screamed at me to try these headphones. With a list price of $12.95, I couldn't not buy these. Despite the low price, right out of the box I could tell these were quality products. The soft and supple silicone earbud tips fit comfortably in my ears. I have trouble with some brands of headphones, they tend to feel too big and fall out of my ears often. Not with the JBL Tune 110s.
The fit was like the porridge in the famous Goldilocks tale, just right. Comfortable and lightweight, I am able to wear these earbud headphones for hours without any soreness in my ears.
The sound quality blew me away. I quickly compared them with my Sony, Samsung, and AKG earbud headphones. The JBL Tune 110 sound quality was superior to all of them. Rich, deep-sounding bass and amazingly clear treble created a crystal clear and balanced sound experience without distortion. The JBL earbuds performed excellently and sounded louder than the competition while watching movies or listening to music.
In my opinion, having owned these earbuds for over a year, I find they are excellent budget headphones with high-end sound and quality. The JBL Tune 110 headphones come included with a built-in microphone for incoming phone calls. With an integrated single-button remote, you can handle phone calls and control your music playback hands-free.
The soft, flat, tangle-free cord prevents chafing by staying straight when I'm hiking or biking and is extremely comfortable against my neck. These JBL Tune 110 headphones are durable enough to take years of abuse and daily wear. They should last the serious audiophile for a very long time. I rate them 9 out of 10 for the price, sound, and build quality.
