I'm just in search of sustainable and legitimate ways for multiple income streams. I believe that sharing positively brings positivity.
Mark Zuckerberg has started Facebook Shops, where businesses can open an official Facebook page, provide real-time customer service, and sell products on a limited, branded Facebook Page.
Selling on Facebook Shops is Easy
Businesses can announce on their Facebook Page, or share a Facebook post that announces their Facebook Page. After that, it’s all about building customer interest and getting an order placed. Facebook is the social network for connecting with the people that matter most to you. The more meaningful connections you have with your customers, the more your customers will trust you and come back to visit. On Facebook, customers are the driving force of your business. Your customers are a part of your marketing team, and they are your greatest source of competitive advantage.
Products along with price can be enlisted on a Facebook Shop listing. For instance, a Facebook Shop can offer up a group of handmade items for a Valentine’s Day special. You can also offer clothing, flowers, and candles for sale. Facebook Shops will have a limit of only 50,000 products, and the Facebook Shop checkout experience will be designed to make it easy for customers to purchase something right away.
Product URLs can also be used to further extend the shopping experience. For instance, if a customer is interested in a specific product or wants to browse a wider range of items, he can also enter a product’s URL into a checkout box. This may save the customer extra steps. For any additional product details, the Facebook Shop will be a great place for customers to learn more about your product and get more information. After adding the product to your Facebook shop, your customers will be able to purchase the product within a few moments.
Facebook Shops will help businesses in two ways:
- It provides them with a scalable platform to get more visibility and drive more business.
- It creates a more engaging and personal experience for customers.
How to Manage the Facebook Shops in a better way?
After adding the product to your Facebook Shop, customers will be able to browse through the available products by category or by a shop-specific section such as women’s, men’s, home, etc.
Every product page has a menu button at the top left that takes customers to the top navigation bar. Here, you can get more information about the product and read reviews from other customers.
Here is a video that shows how a customer order process works on a Facebook Shop:
The Facebook Business Manager
The Facebook Business Manager is a tool that, as its name implies, enables you to manage multiple Facebook Pages, corporate assets, ad accounts, Instagram accounts, and product catalogs all in one location. Facebook shop owners (who sell Facebook-based items, not Facebook ads) can use this tool to make a profit from Facebook. But it also is useful for all small businesses and businesses of any size.
The Facebook Pages tab allows you to manage Pages, not individual profiles. In addition to controlling what can be posted on your Page, the Pages tab also lets you manage who can comment on your Page, post to your Page, promote your Page, and mute your Page so you do not receive content.
To save customers from unnecessary customer service support calls, Facebook is rolling out a new feature called Catalog Manager. This new feature is being rolled out to existing Shop Support pages and will become available in the coming months for all new Facebook Shop accounts.
Facebook Shops will use a catalog manager so that when you add a product, customers can easily find the product page and return to it later if they need any additional help or want to learn more. Customers can then buy the product, and the transaction will be securely processed on Facebook. Facebook will allow you to create a catalog based on your product assortment or categories.
If you need to add new products, you can use the Facebook Shop Manager to create an optional section where customers can enter their shipping information, their full name, email address, and order information, and pick a preferred method of payment.
Users should feel comfortable browsing the Facebook Shop section and feel safe shopping from their Facebook page. This section can be used for all your purchases, no matter if you’re ordering for yourself or a friend.
Provide Clear, Straightforward Instructions On Shop Browsing
Sometimes, it can be hard for customers to understand how to use the shopping experience. You can make sure that customers aren’t confused by the lack of clear or difficult-to-read product descriptions. Make sure that all product images are easy to see and comprehend.
