Energy-Saving Tip #1 - Coffee as Electricity Reducer

Ow, really?!!!

Did you receive already the latest receipt of your monthly electrical consumption at home? I’m sure, if you are in thePhilippines, you will read the content with snort and disgust, often swearing cuss words because of the data shown on the piece of paper.

You will be tempted to find ways on how to reduce the reading on your electric bill. Bigger slice of your take-home pay will always be paid to the owner and shareholders of the electrical company that is providing you with electricity.

Tampering electric meter is a crime, more so with putting a negative metal rod in order to divert the flow of excess electricity (just like what happened to my former radio colleague who now operates an internet café).

Now enters coffee as an electricity reducer!

You’ll think this as scam or just gimmickry but those users who are already enjoying its benefits can give you proof that it is true.

The one who shared with me the technique on how to put that coffee on the cord of every electrical gadget or appliance at home, showed her recent electric bill receipt revealing a more reduced amount that she’ll pay.

The friend of my landlady here inManila, who owns a forwarding service or freight company testified that he, too believes in the authenticity of this marvelous use of coffee.

To tell you frankly, I was also doubtful regarding this, because I don't know the component of coffee that can reduce the surge of electric power. Only the experts know.

The story behind this discovery.

The beautiful and humble beginning of this discovery came from a not-so-prominent guy whose mother was on the verge of dying due to a terminal disease.

He was able to mix the coffee with the following (aside from sugar and milk):

  1. spirulina - this awesome seaweed that is rich in energy-giving nutrients and minerals
  2. ganoderma or brazilian agaricus - a kind of tropical mushroom that is usually mix with ground coffee beans, dubbed as king mushroom
  3. glutathione - a very good whitening agent and anti-oxidant
  4. ginseng- libido booster
  5. moringa -malunggay, tropical vegetable as immune system booster, too.

With the production of his coffee that was approved by Burea of Food and Drugs (BFAD) now also called Food and Drug Administration (FDA), he was able to sell it during trade fairs and exhibits.

The potency of his version of mix coffee was able to prolong the life of his mother

With continuous research, he also added into his coffee the unique function as electricity reducer!

In a desperate situation he was into, during the ailing period of his mother, he tried putting the coffee on the cords of his electrical gadget and appliances.

At the span of one month, a new electric bill arrived showing a more reduced consumption!

To the public, he recommend his coffee as an additional energy-saving component at home or even in a big business who use much of highly-priced electricity in the land where the providers are cashing in huge money from the consumers.

This is what I did at home

Ordering a box of that particular mix of coffee will need around Php250.00 pesos ($5.00) for one user to avail. I mean, it's still on the stage of promotion, that's why when the producer (name withheld) presented it at the World Trade Center seminar hall at Pasay City, Philippines, the attendees cannot believe of what he's saying.

Until he presented the evidences by showing his recent electric bills (no hanky-panky about it). The results are genuine.

Most of them became interested and were able to be persuaded to share the knowledge they've learned during that seminar.

In other words, it reached my home in the city.

The ratio of using that sachets of coffee for every electrical appliance or gadget available at home will be like this (also depending on its size and wattage).

  1. electric fan - two sachets of coffee; it can be three pieces if it has bigger wattage
  2. television set - three sachets of coffee
  3. refrigerator - four sachets or more depending on its size
  4. laptop computer or desktop - three or four sachets of coffee

If you see some modern gadgets, the cord has its round capacitor that reduces electric consumption.

Since, most of the gadgets we use don't have that special capacitor, this coffee mix will serve like it.

Note: I cannot compare my electric bill now, while I'm doing this hub. I will be updating it, a month after and I hope it will be successful that I can see a reduced amount of consumption when the electric bill comes. How to understand Electricity - Read about Nikola Tesla

Notes and Update: 8-in1 Micswell Coffee and Nikola Tesla

The 8-in-1 Micswell Coffee here is a patented product, one with eight active ingredients. It is also called Brazilian coffee by its distributor which has already several authorized local manufacturer in the Philippines.

Like what I said when I did this article last year, it's always a question whether the aluminum foil or its coffee mix content that made your electric bill decreases.

Now, that a more huge discussion has been happening in social networks, like Facebook and YouTube because of this awesome innovation in my country, a more sound explanation is needed as to why this is possible.

The author of this hub, travel_man1971, has been convinced with the fact that:

Let me quote Harmon Bacala, an Environmental Science graduate for this explanation, he urges everyone to read the book of Nikola Tesla and know his achievements regarding electricity, radio and wireless transmission.

NIKOLA TESLA (10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943) was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current electrical supply system. He was also dubbed as 'mad scientist' during his time due to his miraculous inventions, from condenser to capacitor, bladeless turbine, coaxial coils and a lot more, He was more concentrated on magnetic field, the ambient and radiant energy that can prove of a free energy that we can use without the worry of electric bill every month.

We Discovered A Way To Use Sachets Of Herbal Coffee To Cut Your Electricity Bills Up To 50% Monthly! c/o MrMsTallbeauty

Amazing Coffee! Really?!!!

Still, many are adamant about the fuzz or buzz on this coffee-thing as electricity reducer.

It may sound as a scam, because the coffee that I've used was dealt upon by a business enthusiast who used to frequent product demonstration at the World Trade Center in Manila.

I am not promoting the coffee, per se, but the benefits or comfort that it will give for a lower electric billing.

Unlike before, you'll wish that you'll install a solar power system, even wind power system in order to cut off a high monthly bill on electricity.

If you cannot pay in full the installation of sun or wind power, then you can settle with this coffee-thing.

The proof will always depend on your decision to try this procedure, whether you're already fed up with me or out of curiosity.

Dude from a testing lab on January 18, 2017:

I have encountered a lot of energy saving devices and energy saving techniques that can reduce energy consumption, as per manufacturer's claim. Based on the tests we conducted, some indeed increases the efficiency (Power Factor) of the appliance but it didnt affect the energy consumption, an efficient transfer of energy may benefit the DUs (Distribution Utilities) but not the actual consumer. Indirectly, it may lower your bill IF the DU will cut charges on their distribution loss. Usually, if you own a manufacturing plant, DU will require you to set-up capacitor banks to improve the plant's PF (Power Factor).

Zerofoursixseventynine on January 29, 2016:

Good day sir travel_man1971, you seemed to be more knowledgeable in this product,

We've just purchased a couple of boxes yesterday, unfortunately hindi po maipaliwanag din ng reseller the health benefits and how to install to save-up on power. (On the energy saving part installation, I already got the instructions from your post above)

We too are ardent admirers of this coffee, we are so much interested in saving up a couple of bucks on our electricity bills too, hence a little bit skeptical on the long term effect on our appliances, gadgets, and other staff. Ofcourse ayaw natin ma compromise ang mga appliances natin, lalo na at pinaghirapan natin ang mga ito.

Kindly share the science (physics) of this energy saving coffee.

It would be more conducive, than relying on faith and trust alone. I won't mind if you'd be more technical on your explanations. :)

I'd appreciate your prompt response.

Thanks.  Hope to hear from you soon.

ECE on October 04, 2014:

Hi to all,

My grandmother tried these coffee as "power consumption reducer" and there were technicians that installed coffee in every appliances that we have. And yet, I think there were no improvements on our electricity bill compared from the past few months. Also, I have performed an experiment with the same electric fan with coffee and without coffee. As a result, the energy consumed without the coffee is 60 watts hour and the one with coffee attached to the wire is also 60 watts hour. I do not know if it really has to do in power consumption. And if it really works, would you please make a video documentation and put an energy meter to prove that this coffee energy saver really works. Thank you Sir and I'm also interested with this innovation.

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on January 28, 2013:

@Jamesm1968: I already updated this hub for a more interesting discussion.

A help from Harmon Bacala taught me a thing or two regarding this fascinating find:

The current flow directly to the devices that consumes electricity, depending on the wattage of the devices you use; the special magnetized foil used in the packaging and or the magnetized property of the ingredient found in coffee products enables to hold the current lost every time electricity travels. This are the reason why the electric meter made a slow motion generation. Gauss's law best describe this phenomena, and best explain also in Kirchhoff's circuit laws.

The packaging and the coffee mixture slow down the electricity flow.

An amateur video of a testimony for this interesting story in my country will also entice you to be here or if not in the future a webinar to make us truly understand if this will be more on a success trend.

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on January 28, 2013:

@techboy: Yes, there's an explanation that I included on this hub, if you can review it again.

The product is produced here in Manila and the innovator/scientist (an accidental one) is still subjected to many interviews right now.

There's a reader who testified that what I experienced trying this was true. (oliva1972@gmail.com -Pls. also ask how much effective this product is.)

Jamesm1968 from UK on January 27, 2013:

Could be worth trying different fillings inside the same packaging. This would rule-out whether or not the effect is being caused by the coffee.

techboy on January 27, 2013:

There must be a scientific explanation on these if these is really true, it may not be the coffee itself or as the other poster said it maybe the packaging foil or the other material that is added on the coffee that cause it all. So where we can buy these coffee?

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on January 10, 2013:

@Jamesm1968: Thank you for giving a very sound explanation. If you can follow this hub, I'm going to update later once the inventor visits our cooperative in Paranaque, Philippines. He is scheduled to orient us further about this.

Jamesm1968 from UK on January 10, 2013:

I have a feeling it might be down to the packaging material used for the sachets. If they are foil, then there is a good chance that by wrapping a foil sachet around a power cord it would act in the same manner as a ferrite coil.

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on January 07, 2013:

@vibesite: Definitely. This may sounds too farfetch but now, some are enjoying its benefits by legally reducing their electric bills.

You should use coffee with the contents similar to what I've indicated here in my hub.

vibesites from United States on January 07, 2013:

Sounds quite wacky but you otherwise prove it... I'm curious to try that too. This will definitely save hundreds of bucks from electricity bills without making you spend much. Voted up and useful, interesting.

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on January 05, 2013:

@oliva1972@gmail.com - Now, it's time to erase the doubts of all doubters who are reading this.

I'll be totally grateful if your share it with HP readers. :)

@mavie: Our electric bill decreases as we follow the proceedings meticulously.

You can try it, too. :)

mavie on October 16, 2012:

Any update on this sir? How's your electric bill?

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on June 18, 2012:

@yougotme: The abstract of this breakthrough is not publicly available yet.

With your comment here, I already conveyed your queries to my co-volunteer at Don Galo coop.

She replied that she'll invite me to the head office of the manufacturer and conduct an interview with the inventor.

I'm hoping that it will be ASAP. :)

Renz Kristofer Cheng from Manila on June 18, 2012:

Thanks! This would be a great breakthrough, and I hope the this will really progress well.

Yeah, I'll be waiting for your update regarding the science/concept behind this innovation. :)

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on June 18, 2012:

@yougotme: It's the negative ions that make it work (as the ongoing research found out). The inventor has its production office @ Ortigas-EDSA (the name to be revealed later-due to the competition brewing up).

Ever heard of ambient energy? I also want to explore more on the topic regarding this awesome 'coffee magic'. Just wait for my update.

Thanks for dropping by, kabayan!

Renz Kristofer Cheng from Manila on June 17, 2012:

I really find this interesting. I'm looking forward to your update.!

Also, I wonder: what's in the coffee that reduces electricity consumption?

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on June 15, 2012:

@thesailor: Thanks. Now, we can fight the electricity distributors in a legal way.

One benefactor of this awesome 'coffee magic' said that the meter man (those reading the electric meter) was also intrigue why her consumption was lower than the previous one. She told him about this.

And he, too, now plans to try this kind of energy-saving tip.

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on June 15, 2012:

@Old Witchcraft: I think it's only available here in the PH, but some are having their products exported in other countries, especially sachet coffee mixes.

Thanks for dropping by! :D

Ireno Alcala (author) from Bicol, Philippines on June 15, 2012:

@Harsha Vardana R: Yes, they have all that kind of optimizers. But, this is a reducer for a very 'hot' issue in our country-the very high price of electricity.

That's why, we are always looking for possibilities to reduce our consumption through legal ways.

thesailor from Seven Seas on June 12, 2012:

What a find!!! I am sure, those bitchy-wealthy owners of electric companies in the Philippines will now review items that they add to our electric bills.

If the users said it worked for them, then it will work for you, too!

Good riddance!!!

OldWitchcraft from The Atmosphere on June 09, 2012:

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to try to order some of this coffee - even if it doesn't lower my electric bill, it sounds like a really good product.

It doesn't seem to be a available in the U.S., though. I haven't finished looking, yet. But, I see it is available on some Philippine auction sites.

Thanks, again, for the useful information.

Each one of us can give a try to check ourselves.

Long back, I had seen a similar small device over the petrol tube of an automobile which had enhancement of mileage. But that just faded.

The truth is that certain material can alter the energy balance and that can improve efficiency!!
