A New CAPTCHA Approach
XKCD is famous for producing perhaps the most popular, funniest, and downright best webcomics. The webcomics appeal to nerds and geeks and particularly focus on computer science.
The comics cover a range of topics which include dinosaurs, love, programming, a number of internet memes, as well as popular websites such as Facebook.
If you're a fan of XKCD, you already know why these comics are awesome. You may not have seen each and every XKCD comic, so here's a quick guide to the best of XKCD.
Over the years of being a fan of XKCD, I've chosen several of my personal favorites. I've decided that instead of bitterly keeping this collection to myself, I would share which comics I feel are awesome. I've even included the hover text.
If you have a few favorite comics you would like included, feel free to comment below and share.
Trimester

Hover: Also, it's not like anyone actually calls up the Nobel committee to double-check things.

Couple

Hover: Facebook defines relationships. 'Yeah, we would have broken up last night, but the net connection was down.'
XKCD 355
A-Minus-Minus
Estimation

Hover: They could say "the connection is probably lost," but it's more fun to do naïve time-averaging to give you hope that if you wait around for 1,163 hours, it will finally finish.
XKCD 612
Valentine - Heart
Why Do You Love Me?
Tech Support Cheat Sheet
Science Montage

Hover: The rat's perturbed; it must sense nanobots! Code grey! We have a Helvetica scenario!

How cute! I have seen these cartoons in random areas but I didn't know they were a series. As a lover of English, the one with the man holding up the sign "Citation Needed" is the cutest of all. Thanks so much for a morning chuckle. These are cute and trendy.

Hahah I didn't think I was a geek or a nerd, or even into computer science, but these were KILLER! I've never heard of XKCD but I will look into it more :) Thanks Melbel.

Yes, I've seen them and like XKCD. I also like PHDComics.com (comic by a graduate student poking fun at graduate students and academia)
