Advice for Tattoos on Girls
Tattoos are now more popular than ever before with females. The idea that only men get tattoos is so old fashioned. So my advice to you girls is the same as I'd give to a guy wanting fresh ink:
1. Find the Right Artist
You should always try to match the tattoo style you want with a talented artist that specialises in that style. You will find a tattoo studio on nearly every street corner these days. It is imperative to have a quality artist work on your design. Do a little research, look at their portfolio, ask around, or do some online stalking. Do your best to know what they can and cannot do.
2. Know Which Tattoo Genre Inspires You
Tattoo artists often specialize in particular genres of tattoos. If you want a particularly intricate tattoo design in a certain style, consider traveling interstate to see someone. You will soon forget any extra costs.
3. Consider Your Body
You need to consider the size of the area you intend your new tattoo to go on. Also the natural shape and flow of the body. Be realistic, a detailed design will be difficult to execute on a small surface area or on a bumpy location.
4. Consider Cost
Most importantly, cheap tattoos aren't good, and good tattoos aren't cheap!
Just like everything else in this world, you get what you pay for. In the long run, it's worth paying little extra money to have a quality tattoo that you like rather than one you hate. A tattoo artist who has a high fee generally has talent.

Dainty Ear Tattoos
Tattoos behind the ear and on the earlobe itself are low on the pain scale. There isn't a lot of extra flesh behind the ear, though, so when a tattoo is done on the ear lobe it vibrates on the tight muscles of the neck.
For a tattoo to be done an earlobe, the tattoo artist needs to be technically skillful with small design and details. Since ear tattoos are very small, a steady hand and vast amount of experience is required.
The ear tattoo is not always easily covered when you want to hide your tattoos. Outer lobes will continually pop through any hair used to hide them. Tattoos behind the ear can be covered with scarves and collars. These tattoos, however tiny, will always be on show to the public.

Healing a tattoo on the foot can be a little more difficult. Due to the constant, repeated need to walk, the fresh foot tattoo is always moving, impeding healing.
Footwear is also another factor that affects healing. You will need to find some form of footwear that does not rub any area of the tattoo. Ideally, barefoot is the answer as much as possible. Consider thongs, ballet slippers, or tie-on shoes as other options.
