What is acne prone skin?
Simply put, if acne breakouts are frequent to you, then you can say you have acne-prone skin. This isn't your regular pimple outbreak which happens sometimes, but instead is a frequent occurrence that leaves your skin with acne and sometimes even inflamed skin.
Oily skin is a type of skin prone to acne, because people with oily skin are often affected by genetic factors and hormone changes. Besides, dry skin can also cause acne because the environment or skin care habits irritate and clog pores.
Acne develops when sebum — an oily substance that lubricates your hair and skin — and dead skin cells plug hair follicles. Bacteria can trigger inflammation and infection resulting in more severe acne.
The components of Sudocrem
Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. It is a white powder that is insoluble in water.
Formula: ZnOMolar mass: 81.38 g/molDensity: 5.61 g/cm³Melting point: 1,975 °CBoiling point: 2,360 °CChemSpider ID: 14122Classification: inorganic compound, oxide
Zinc oxide is used in a wide range of cosmetics and personal care products, including makeup, nail products, baby lotions, bath soaps and foot powders. Zinc oxide is also used in skin protectants, such as diaper rash ointments and sunscreen products.
Zinc oxide is considered one of the best sunscreen ingredients we have access to. Not only does it block both UVA and UVB rays – which are responsible for causing burns, skin damage, and skin cancer — but it's completely photostable and resistant to water.
The proposed mechanism of action of ZnO involves the production of reactive oxygen species, which elevates membrane lipid peroxidation that causes membrane leakage of reducing sugars, DNA, proteins, and reduces cell viability.
Zinc oxide is the second GRASE sunscreen ingredient, allowed in concentrations up to 25 percent. Studies show it's safe, with no evidence of skin penetration, even after repeated use.14 Jun 2019.

Lanolin and vaseline are two products important in skin moisturizing in a classic skincare routine. However, lanolin is a better option for skin care.
