Believe it or not, this is true. Whatever you consume, reflects on your body. Having a healthy diet can solve most of your problems at once. Avoid eating junk and fried foods for one month and you will notice visible results in your health, skin, and hair. If you combine diet with exercise, it will be best.

Use Soft Water to Shampoo your Hair

I never knew this until my friend told me. If you use borewell water (hard), it will affect your scalp and you will experience a lot of hair loss. There are many people I have seen who had great hair but since they used borewell water due to change of place or other reasons, they started having excessive hair loss and a decrease in their hair volume. If possible, invest in a water softener. Just fix it in your shower and your borewell water will convert into soft water. However, if this is not feasible, then you can use water from your aqua guard/water filter.

Always Tie your Hair Before Sleeping

If you sleep at night with your hair open, it causes friction, and the follicles on your scalp get damaged which might increase hair loss.

Method of Oiling Hair

You already know that oiling hair is very important but the method of oiling hair is even more important. Too little or too much oiling can damage your scalp. You should oil your hair half an hour before shampoo or keep it overnight. Take a little oil in a bowl and warm it a little. The oil should not be too warm otherwise the heat can damage your scalp. Apply the oil and gently massage the scalp with your fingers. Do not massage your scalp using your nails as they can irritate the scalp and damage the hair follicles. Gently massage your scalp after applying oil all over and then shampoo your hair.

Vitamin/Biotin Supplements

If you have any kind of deficiency in your body, you might experience severe hair loss. Whenever we eat anything, the nutrition from that food is first distributed in the organs and other parts of the body which is essential for functioning. Our hair is just for appearance and is not a part of body function. Therefore, after distributing it to all parts of the body and cells, whatever nutrition is left is given to the hair. Many times, our hair does not get any nutrition at all. This is why supplements play an important role. Supplements help to overcome the deficiency and provide nutrition. There are many supplements nowadays in the market that is known to reduce hair loss and improve the quality and texture of your hair. Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea Tree essential oil is extremely great for reducing scalp infections and dandruff further reducing hair loss. This is one of the best methods that I always include in my hair care routine. Just take a little bit of shampoo in a bowl and dilute it in water and add 3-4 drops of tea tree essential oil. Use this mixture and you will see great results within a week.

Always Use Mild, Sulfate-Free Shampoo

The shampoo you use affects your hair a lot. Most of the shampoos contain sulfate that can harm your scalp and hair. To prevent hair loss, damage, and other scalp-related issues, always choose a mild, sulfate-free shampoo. If your shampoo creates lots of foam and lather, it means there is sulfate in it. Always check the ingredients to decide which product is best for you.


Correct Method to Use Conditioner

Conditioner should always be used on the hair length and not your scalp. If you apply conditioner on the scalp, it will loosen your hair follicles and cause extreme hair loss.

Dilute your Shampoo

Directly applying shampoo to your hair can damage your hair follicles and increase hair loss. The correct method is to dilute and then apply. Take the required amount of shampoo in a bowl/container and add little water. Mix this solution well and then use this to shampoo your hair. For best results, add 2-3 drops of tea tree essential oil to this solution.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is an excellent remedy to treat dandruff and scalp-related issues. Mix ACV with equal quantities of water and apply it over your scalp with a cotton bud. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then shampoo your hair.
