No Botox Forehead Wrinkle Reduction in Six Months

Yes it really is possible to reduce forehead lines and wrinkles over time. I'd never believed this was possible believing the only way to actually get rid of lines was to have botox or perhaps some sort of thread lift.

Over time I've come to discover that there is a lot you can do at home that will significantly reduce lines in this area. I'm referring to static lines that are visible all of the time, even without movement. Frown lines are slightly different. These may beed to be treated naturally with Frownies overnight or with botox if that isn't working for you.

My Anti-Aging For the Forehead Routine

I start by removing my make-up and making sure that my skin is really clean and dry.

Next I take my 0.5mm dermaroller and pass this diagonally, horizontally and straight. I use six passes on each direction I take.

Next I'll apply a small amount of Retin-A to the treated area. Once this has dried I take my moisturiser and make sure to give my forehead a good coating!

Dermarolling and using Retin-A can leave you skin extremely dry if not treated.

How does This Routine Work to Treat Lines and Wrinkles?

The dermaroller promotes collagen production but it also opens up tiny little channels in the skin which allow your skin care to be absorbed much deeper. Using Retin-A ensures that I get a deep peel. I wouldn't suggest you go straight for a retinoid if you haven't already become used to it however. Retin-A is super-strong and can irritate the skin. It does however have amazing anti-aging properties and does wonders to reduce and even get rid of lines in some cases.

This regime is a ling term plan of action to reduce or get rid of lines. It can be uncomfortable and it will dry your skin as well as cause some unsightly peeling for a couple of days. I guess it all depends how much you want to get rid of those lines!

Retin-A is inexpensive and is a great start if you are in your thirties. Believe me, starting now will ensure you are always being told how young you look when you get into your forties and fifties. Prevention is always preferable to cure. Easier too!

How Long Will it Take to See the Lines Improve?

You shouldn't expect to see any significant anti-aging results for at least six months. If you want instant results then you should watch the video until the end.

The rolling and the Retin-A will tighten the skin, firm it, lessen dark marks and age spots, reduce or eradicate some finer lines, leave smooth soft youthful looking and feeling skin when all the peeling is complete.

How Often Should You Do This?

I do it every three weeks or there-about. I wouldn't suggest that you do it more often that this as you don't want to suffer dry skin all year round. The aim of this process is to make us look younger not older! From my own experience with anti-aging techniques this has been the most effective and the lines on my head were much more pronounced last year.

I used to have botox but no longer feel the need for it. I prefer my skin to look a little more natural these days so I don't mind the odd mild line. It's fun finding skin care products and devices that actually work.

What Age Should You Start an Anti-Aging Skin Care Routine

Ideally you would start to look after your skin in your twenties. If I'd known what I know now then I probably would have started in my thirties as I'm sure I'd have been too busy partying in my twenties!

It's like saving for your retirement. You don't see the necessity when you're young. Our skin care be protected by using an SPF all year round. Even if you do nothing else, this is almost essential to be honest. I use it every day and have been doing so since I started the more aggressive skin care routines and creams.

Make time to treat yourself every now and again too! Let someone else do the hard work, sit back and relax.
