A healthy and regular skincare routine is both important and desirable. A fresh skin is always noticed and appreciated by others. In winters,the importance of skin care increases immensely as winter which is often termed as a dry season greatly effects your skin. Your skin becomes dry, winkled,stretchy, moisture less, and significantly becomes darker. It's not only about your face, but your hands and feet feel a bit more of the winter effect.

For that matter, you don't have to worry much as below you will find some great, very easy to make homemade organic handcream and lotions. Their regular use and application will bring a noticeable smooth and supple skin which can surely be turning heads towards you.

EGG AND ALMOND OIL LOTION:

You will need

1 EGG

2 TABLE SPOONS OF ALMOND OIL

1 TABLE SPOON OF ROSE WATER


METHOD:

  • For smooth and soft hands, in a small bowl blend egg, almond oil, and rose water really good.
  • Apply the mixture on your hands and leave for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Wash afterwards with luke warm water to notice a noticeable difference.



MILK LOTION FOR HANDS :

You will need

2 CUPS OF SLIGHT WARM MILK

1 TEA SPOON OF SALT

METHOD:

  • In an open deep bowl in which you can dip your hands, pour milk and add salt.
  • Dip your hands in the mixture and massage with special attention on your fingers, knuckles, and wrists.
  • This milk lotion remedy is really good for dull looking hands. It is also a good cleanser and gives your hands a glowing soft look.


ROSE WATER HAND LOTION:

You will need

2/3 CUP OF ROSE WATER

1/3 CUP OF GLYCERINE

1 TABLE SPOON OF LEMON JUICE


METHOD:

  • In a bottle mix rose water, glycerine, and lemon juice according to the quantities mentioned above.
  • Place the bottle in a dry and cool place.
  • Apply the blended mixture on your hands as many times as you can.
  • The regular use of this rose water and glycerine mix will soften your hands, improving the skin texture while reducing the wrinkles and dryness that appear as an effect of cold weather on your hands.

YOGURT LOTION

You will need

ONE CUP PLAIN YOGURT

FEW DROPS OF LEMON OIL OR LEMON JUICE


METHOD:

  • In a bowl , mix both ingredients really well.
  • Massage your hands for ten minutes with the mixture.
  • Wash your hands after the massage.
  • This massage works best to remove tan and gives you a clearer skin tone.
  • The yogurt also softens your skin and repairs the extra dry, damaged skin texture.

ORANGE JUICE AND HONEY LOTION:

You will need

HALF CUP ORANGE JUICE

1 TABLE SPOON OF HONEY


METHOD:

  • In a bowl, take orange juice and honey to mix both ingredients.
  • Apply the mixture on your hands with special focus on your nails. This lotion brings shine to your extra dull nails so slight rubbing in of the mixture is important.
  • Leave this orange and honey mixture on your hands at least for ten minutes.
  • Wash your hands with luke warm water to feel a softer skin of your hands.This lotion heals cracked skin due to dryness and leaves your hands smooth and soft.


BANANA AND HONEY CREAM LOTION :

You will need

1 BANANA

1 TEA SPOON OF HONEY

FEW DROPS OF LEMON JUICE

1 TABLE SPOON OF BUTTER


METHOD:

  • In a bowl, take banana, honey, lemon juice, and butter according to the quantities mentioned above and blend them well. Make sure you mix them thoroughly that it takes on a texture of a fine cream like paste.
  • In the next step you have to gently massage the paste like mixture on your hands.
  • If it is possible for you to keep the mixture on your hands for two hours otherwise you can wash it after 15 to 20 minutes. This cream really softens your skin and leaves your hands extra smooth.


Ignoring skin while you are busy is never a good idea. One must follow a regular skin care routine to prevent any damage that comes with winter and extreme dryness. Who doesn't like to feel good with an extra fresh looking, smooth skin free from any wrinkles and dryness? So if you want to self groom then pay extra attention to your skin especially in winters, using the hand lotions and creams that have been revealed in the article above.
