Habits That Cause Premature Skin Aging

#1 Dampness and Lack of Moisture

The skin is naturally one of the places that sweat the most. Our sweat glands have to work hard to keep our bodies warm, humid, and moist. When our body needs moisture, it takes it from the sweat glands. If our skin is continuously kept dry, it will dry out naturally and the skin will become dehydrated. Our skin is our largest organ, and it must remain hydrated in order to keep it healthy and elastic. Anybody who keeps their skin wet is prone to a number of skin conditions, as they are prone to sweating.

Our skin is also prone to dryness when it is exposed to wind, sun, and cold. We must be constantly careful of exposure to these things, and protect our skin from them. There are various ways in which we can care for our skin by keeping it hydrated. There are moisturizers, creams, and serums that we can use.

#2 Exposure to Cold Weather

Keeping our skin cool is crucial for the maintenance of our health. The skin is one of the largest body parts and must remain warm. The skin cannot get colder than the temperature of the core body, and it becomes cold when the temperature drops. When the temperature of the body falls below the normal body temperature of 36.5 degrees C, the skin starts to feel cold.

#3 Poor Diet

When we eat diets that are high in processed food, sugar, and refined carbohydrates, the skin is subjected to a number of health problems. The skin needs essential nutrients and vitamins to remain healthy, and when it does not get the required nutrients, it will age prematurely. We must stay away from processed food. Instead, we must stay on a diet rich in nutrients that are vital for healthy skin.

#4 Stress

#10 Too Much Makeup

If we apply too much makeup on our faces, we may end up having skin problems. For example, if we apply too much makeup, we may end up having broken capillaries on the surface of our skin, which will not only make our skin look terrible, but we can also end up having serious problems.

#11 Too Much Perfume
