Star Tattoo Designs
Star tattoo designs are a very popular choice among men and women when it comes to tattoos. With all the different variations of stars and meanings, it only makes sense that they are a great choice for a tattoo. Star tattoos come in a variety of different colors. They can also be designed in a variety of different ways. Stars have captured our eyes and imaginations for centuries. Over the years, stars have been portrayed in astrology and mythology. They have also been used for navigational purposes as well.
One of the main reason men and women choose the star tattoo is for decorative purposes. Star tattoo designs for women often include a different range of colors, from blue to pink and green to yellow. These designs usually come in a variety of different sizes, with some that are big and some that are small. Some star tattoos may have just one star while others may have multiple stars. Many women choose to get star tattoos on their sides. Such tattoo designs will usually run from the under the arm to the hip area. Another popular spot for women is the ankles, back neck, and the lower back.
Usually, women will choose to get multiple stars in their star tattoo design. It can range from two or three up to twenty. It all depends on the design. For men, they will usually choose a single star. This doesn't mean that they won't have multiple stars though. Just typically, they usually tend to choose one single star. Nautical star tattoo designs are a popular choice for men. Men often get these types of tattoos on the upper arm, chest, elbows, or legs. Some men may choose two stars on opposite parts of the body. This can also include the elbows, hands, and legs.
Star tattoos can be very colorful and add beauty to the body. But in most tattoos, the star design is often seen with swirls, ribbons, dots, and other displays. In some cases, this adds a look of motion to the star or stars. In other cases, it just adds beauty and mystique to the tattoo. As you can see with the star tattoo on the right, you can see how the dots are added to the design. With this tattoo, it just adds to the beauty of the tattoo. With others, it usually adds a visual effect to depict movement in the stars. In his tattoo, he displays a regular star and a nautical star. In star tattoos, this is a common practice. The nautical star has 5 points with a line coming down from each point. This gives each point two separate plains. On the nautical star, one side of each point is colored in.
Shooting star tattoo designs and nautical star tattoos are just two types of the different variations of different star designs. These different star patterns also hold symbolic meanings. You can find out the meanings later in this article. Now, we all have heard the phrase, "shoot for the stars". This is what the star represents. The star represents reaching your dreams and goals. We all have dreams and certain passions that we want to accomplish in life. Someone may choose to get a star tattoo for this exact reason. The star tattoo can mark our lifelong goals when we achieve them, whether it is a job, relationship, or some other mark or accomplishment.
Now, this tattoo on the right is showing movement. This tattoo is an example of a shooting star tattoo. You can clearly see the trail that the star is leaving and it appears that the star is traveling in this star tattoo. With this particular tattoo, you can see that pink, blue, and a little purple is used as a color choice. For women, these three colors are one of the most chosen color patterns that are used with star tattoos. Women have been known to note that the colors mesh together well and add beauty like no other color combination can. As you can see by the other images, these three colors are seen the most together.
Another popular color combination among men and some women are black and red. As you can see in these tattoos, red and black are the color choices for tattoo on the right and for the one below. At the top right, the only color that is used is black on the male. His tattoo is done in traditional black ink.
As you can see with this star tattoo, some of them come in a wide range of different colors and other designs. This is a nautical star. You can clearly see the design to tell this. This tattoo is done on the chest, which is a popular location among many men. The overall tattoo covers the chest and the upper arm of this man. It is also done in many colors, from golds to yellows with greens and blues.
The tattoo on the right is an example of the spiral design. You can clearly see the spirals on the outside of each star. In this tattoo, the traditional colors of blue, pink, and purple are used. This is another example of how popular this color choice is.
Star Tattoo Meaning And Variations
The shooting star is one of the most popular star designs and most widely known. Shooting start tattoos usually mark a moment in time that is forever etched in our minds. For anyone considering this type, a wearer may get a shooting star tattoo for a major milestone in their life. It could be used to symbolize a special one time moment. Some people consider seeing a shooting star as a once in a lifetime chance.
The nautical star represents guidance and protection. Compass star tattoos also represent the same meaning. They were called this because in the past, stars were used for navigational purposes. The stars were often used as a map. The most common star that is used for navigation is the North Star. This type of star can also represent you creating your own path or your own journey. It also represents a positive symbol. These stars have 5 points and a line runs from each point to the center of the star. The line create two separate plains and one side is colored in.
The Pentagram represents balance in one's life and protection. This star has 5 points. It is believed that each 4 points represent the 4 elements. It has been brought to my attention that my tattoo (the six star design - second one down) has made it's rounds so far into the internet world. It has wonderful meaning to me and the more that I see people trying to pass my tattoo off as their own is flattering while at the same time insulting. I'm glad I have told few people of the meaning because I'm sure they would twist it to try to lie about it even more.
It was done at Liquid Courage in Omaha Nebraska!

Thuglife, it all depends on what you are looking for. Think about what is meaningful to you, such as family, a job, your heritage, ect. Answer these questions and apply a tattoo that is meaningful to you. What about your faith, religion, or a special person. Anyone close that you have lost? Nearly all tattoo symbols have meaning so try researching the ones that mean something to you. A tattoo with meaning is a tattoo worth wearing forever, remember that my friend.
