@Alastar, thanks for dropping by. Absolutely. You're talking about covering nearly a quarter of your body if not more. Love full back tattoos, but it has to be a tattoo that I love. Another aspect I failed to mention is making sure you go to a trusted tattoo artist. Yes, you're looking at a tattoo that will cost thousands. Even so, if you get a bad full back tattoo, it can cost you more trying to fix it.
@MsDora, I would imagine some could be. I've met women that feel tattoos are sexy while others are against any body art. A full back tattoo is a big commitment, could be something that should be considered before going through with it
@Btrbell, I'm glad you enjoyed them, best to you
@Faith, their full works of body art for sure. The back is such a large area. You're talking about a full back tattoo that could take days/weeks to complete. I thought that one was top 3 on this page. Thanks again Faith and all, best wishes.
Faith Reaper from southern USA on September 17, 2013:
Whoa, these are really something and overwhelming indeed. That one that looks like stained glass or mosaic is stunning.
Up and more and sharing
God bless you and yours.
Hugs and love, Faith Reaper

Wow, these are awesome! Than k you!
Dora Weithers from The Caribbean on September 16, 2013:
Very beautiful as paintings, but I wonder if some of them aren't scary to the partner in bed--the first being the most likely to scare, and the last one, the least.
Alastar Packer from North Carolina on September 16, 2013:
Bang! How right you are to say make SURE you love it to get a full-back tat! This is one worth waiting on because in some aspects its the hardest style for me to understand, Ricky. Or rather was. After reading and re-thinking a bit looking over the pics some of them are magnificent and live and let. Just be absolutely positive after much reflection this is something one wants for a lifetime. The person may not see it but in a mirror but every time the back is exposed publicly...well, just be sure it's what one wants the world to see suppose. All the goods my friend.
