The women of a tribe living in the village of Huanglu in China have been using rice washing water to care for their hair for generations, and their village is known as the Land of Rapunzel. Almost every girl here has a haircut of at least six feet long and no matter how old she gets, her hair never grows! This village has also taken place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

How to make rice washing water?

When the secret of long and black hair has come to hand, then you also know how to make rice washing water.



Soak the rice and make it

Rinse with half a cup of any rice in clean water to get rid of the dust on top. Take this washed rice in a large container and pour two to three cups of clean water in it. Now cover the pot and keep it for 15-20 minutes. Then take the rice in hand . The water will become more turbid. Now strain this water in another pot. Make water to wash your rice.

For fermented rice water

Make rice washing water in the above manner. Now pour the water in a glass bottle, close your mouth and leave it in the open for a few days. Refrigerate the water to remove the sour smell. This fermented rice water is also very good for hair. However, do not apply it directly to the hair. Butter only by mixing water with it.

Boil rice and make rice water

Boil the rice with water in the same way as you cook rice. In this case one or two cups of water should be given more than the amount of water required for boiling the rice. Once the rice is cooked, sift the starch and keep it in a separate container.

After shampooing

After shampooing and conditioning your hair as usual, use Rice Water to wash your hair one last time. Mix one cup of water with one cup of fermented rice water, add a few drops of lavender oil. Pour this water on the hair and gently massage from the base to the tip. Leave on for five minutes then rinse with clean water.

As a pre-conditioner

After shampooing, pour the rice washing water on the scalp and massage it well on the scalp and hair. Leave on for five to seven minutes, rinse and then apply conditioner.

As a shampoo

Mix one teaspoon of shikakai powder with one cup of rice washing water. Add a quarter cup of aloe vera juice. Also give one to two tablespoons of baby shampoo. Now mix the whole well and put it in a bottle. If you keep it in the fridge, it will be good for a week. Use as shampoo.

As a hair mask

Method 1

Wash hair with mild shampoo. Then pour the washing water over the whole head and hair and massage well. When done, cover the hair with a shower cap and leave it for 15 minutes. Then rinse with clean water.

Method 2

Make a paste by mixing mustard powder with fermented rice water. Mix well again with a little olive oil in the paste. Apply this paste on the scalp for 15-20 minutes, then shampoo.

Use as a cleansing toner

Take a small amount of rice water or rice fan that you have kept in the fridge with cotton. Soak the cotton and apply it on the face. Apply Clock Wise. Then you dry your face. When the skin of the face is dry, apply moisturizer. Rice water (rice water for skin) does not match in skin care.

Make your own scrub

Take half a cup of rice water or rice water for skin. Mix four tablespoons of sea salt with it. Mix six drops of lavender oil and two tablespoons of olive oil in it. Apply this mixture on the body and rub it well to exfoliate your skin. Then wash off. After washing, apply moisturizer. If your skin is sensitive, first examine a small part of the skin.
