Helen Murphy Howell from Fife, Scotland on October 30, 2012:

Hi LW! What a fascinating hub this is and as always the artwork photographs are stunning. I think I would have nightmares if I had some of those on me though but that creates a really interesting question on the reason why people would want a demon tattoo. The list you gave for the symbolic meanings are fascinating. I think getting a tattoo to symbolise, 'darkness' 'eternity', 'power' is understandable and would certainly creat an effect. It's also interesting that you say about people having these tattoos will be judged. Do you think for some who get these tattoos that's what they want? To create a specific effect and/or to get people's attention?

I found this a thorougly fascinating and absorbing hub - excellent and informative as always!!

Fascinating tattoos, but not on my list of ones to get. Too scary for me.

Brenda Barnes from America-Broken But Still Beautiful on October 27, 2012:

I must admit that I scrolled past those scary pictures. Really I would be frightened of anyone I saw with one of these tattoos. Your information is perfect of course. People who want such awful things make me sad for them. Thanks lyricwriter.

Alastar Packer from North Carolina on October 26, 2012:

Ah this was the one been waiting on Ricky, good find and style write for Halloween. Didn't notice any particular demons in the pics which surprised me a little. The ones on the knees reminded of the tattoo patterns on the ancient Scottish Picts, who were a wild bunch according to the Roman chroniclers. Anyway, definitely a style to think long and hard on before proceeding with the demon inking. Up and two my friend

Great accompaniment for this time of year, although these are not my favorite. The creator of some of these samples is a talented artist, just the same.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on October 24, 2012:

Ricky, that's enough to scare the bejeebers out of just about anyone. I'm not messing with any dude wearing one of these....or any chick for that matter. :) Great job buddy!

Faith Reaper from southern USA on October 24, 2012:

Yikes Ricky,

Wouldn't want one of those on my body ever!!! I have had a glimpse into that unseen realm during spiritual warfare, and so these are pretty realistic to say the least.

Don't know of anyone who would want these, except those who worship satan. That is their choice of course.

Very interesting that there is even such, well not really, as I can imagine there are those who would want such. It is amazing the amount of tattoos there are out there. You could be publishing these hubs until the end of time, which is great news for you!

You always do such a great job with these hubs, with the imagery and the meanings behind the tattoos, etc.

Voted up, awesome, and interesting ---no scary button to press! LOL

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper
