buy a bomber jacket at a discount

Bomber jackets are back for fall and winter! They’ll be one of the hottest fashion items on the market, and they’re not just for men anymore. Sure, the guys will be wearing bomber jackets, but so will women, juniors, and even kids. The ultra-popular bomber jacket is part of the military look that will be the rage this autumn and winter. These jackets can have an informal, distressed look, or they can have a more formal look. You find a bomber jacket to go with practically any outfit. In fact, I've seen photos of models wearing short, tailored bombers with some pretty snazzy outfits!

The bomber jacket enjoyed a resurgence in the late eighties and early nineties, then the craze died down for a while. But it’s back with a vengeance. Many of the new bomber jackets are almost identical to the earlier types – all leather bomber jackets with a gathered waist. The new bomber jackets, however, are also available in some fun new styles and materials.

Men's bomber jacket

Few fashion items look “tougher” on a guy than a bomber jacket. The traditional bomber jacket practically screams masculinity. Choices for men’s bomber jackets include the leather bomber jacket, the shearling bomber jacket, the flight jacket, the suede bomber jacket, the twill bomber jacket, the baseball bomber jacket, the wool bomber jacket, and the down bomber jacket. A new style that’s sure to be a hit is the buffalo plaid bomber jacket with a hood. This jacket is sort of a marriage of the traditional bomber jacket and the hoodie. These look super comfy and easy to wear.

Juniors' and ladies' bomber jackets

Bomber jackets for juniors and ladies come in some exciting new styles, too. One of the most popular is the cropped bomber jacket. This style stops at or above the waist and looks great with a pair of jeans and boots. Other types include the quilted bomber jacket, the baseball bomber jacket, the fur-trimmed bomber jacket, and the puffer bomber jacket.

Another new style of bomber jacket for ladies and juniors is the puff-sleeve bomber jacket. It has belled sleeves and smocking at the cuffs and hem, along with a warm hood. There’s also a red-white-and-blue bomber jacket in a flag motif that looks like a retro jacket from the sixties. Other styles are available in leather, faux leather, vinyl, wool, and plaid. You can find a bomber jacket for ladies and juniors in practically any color, and in fun prints like Betty Boop.

Children's bomber jackets

Why should the kids be left out of the bomber jacket craze? Your son or daughter can look cool yet stay nice and toasty in one of the great bomber jackets for kids. You’ll find smaller versions of the traditional bomber jacket, along with other styles for children.

Picture your little one in a Top Gun bomber jacket, in a World War II-style bomber jacket, or in a pink bomber jacket. Other bomber jackets for kids come in faux leather, nylon, wool, or polyester, and many are waterproof. Some come with hoods, too, so those old hoodies can be replaced with a stylish bomber jacket.

Why buy a bomber jacket?

Bomber jackets look great and are also very practical and versatile. The bomber jacket usually has a zipper front, which makes it easy to open and close, even for kids. Some have zip-in liners, too, making them perfect for just about any type of weather conditions. The traditional bomber jacket has an elasticized waistband that holds in body heat. If you get too warm, all you have to do is unzip the jacket. The bomber jacket can be dressed up with a pair of khakis, or dressed down with a pair of old faded blue jeans. For extra warmth, choose a bomber jacket with a hood. If you choose a waterproof bomber jacket, it can substitute for a raincoat.

A bomber jacket will fit in almost anywhere. Wear it to a football game, to school, to the club, shopping, or while you’re just hanging out with your friends. You can add patches to your bomber jacket to make it truly unique and totally yours.

Another great thing about the traditional leather bomber jacket is that it ages gracefully. Scuffs, wrinkles, and scratches just add to its retro look and make it look even more authentic.

Where to buy a bomber jacket

The bomber jacket will be everywhere this fall, and just about everyone will be scrambling for one or more of them. They make great gifts for practically anyone on your birthday or Christmas list, too. Best of all, with a little searching, you can find cheap bomber jackets!

Because of the immense popularity of the bomber jacket, most department stores will have them. You probably won’t have a wide range of styles and colors, however, without visiting numerous stores. The best place to shop for a bomber jacket is online. You’ll find lots of styles, materials, and sizes of bomber jackets, along with competitive pricing.
