One popular variation of mom and dad tattoos are hand print tattoos and footprint tattoos. In many cases, parents will actually use their child's prints for such tattoos. You don't have to, but parents agree that it makes it more special. There are a variety of different ways to have your hand print tattoo and foot print tattoo portrayed. You may just want a single hand print or foot print tattoo, possibly one of each print. You could also get both hand prints, footprints, or both. You may want to add a halo or not. Just like so many other mother and father tattoos, you may want to add their names and birth dates to the tattoo. You may want to go with something simple, such as a name tattoo with wings on the sides. You may want to choose a large angel looking over the baby angel. Mama Kim, thanks for taking the time to drop by and comment. They are a lot of possibilities for mothers. You could go with baby angels, portrait tattoos, or even small feathers. I always liked the small feather with a name beside or under. Even baby items, such as baby boots or a bottle. Many things that you can do with this theme. Thanks for everything.

I've never seen the blocks before, that's really cute. I've always been a fan of the foot and hand prints, but when they fade or get fuzzy they tend to look like nasty bruises ^_^ I know I want tattoos for my kids... I just haven't found anything that gives me that "oh that's perfect" feeling yet. ^_^ I'll keep browsing your hubs! Voted up

It's bad enough when your parents have old photos of you from when you where a kid. I would hate it if my mum had a tattoo of me as a kid in the 70s.

If you look at my current profile pic, this is the first tattoo I ever did, in honor of my daughter, while I was still a tattoo apprentice.
The tattoo machine writing her name on my arm is a symbolism stating how permenantly I've been marked by her coming into this world.
I'm gonna share this on facebook, as it will be appreciated.
