At number 5 is Jorge Masvidal. At the current moment, Jorge has a strong argument to be first. He achieved superstardom in 2019 with three consecutive KO wins over Darren Till, Ben Askren, and Nate Diaz. His bout against Diaz was for the BMF belt. The Stockton native himself Nate Diaz comes in at number 3. His fights against McGregor have sold unbelievable PPV numbers selling 1.3 and 1.6 million PPV buys respectively. Nate is also very popular due to his likeable personality and his trash talking.

Brock Lesnar comes just short of the first place spot. The former heavyweight champion had a short but successful MMA career. His PPV numbers are amazing. His bout against Shane Carwin did 1.1 million buys, his bout against Velasquez did 1.05 million buys, and his bout against Randy Couture did 1 million buys. Lesnar's popularity is also due to his very large pro wrestling (WWE) fan base.

His first and second bouts against Diaz did 1.6 and 1.3 million buys and his fight against Khabib holds the UFC record at 2.4 million. His fights against Alvarez and Mendes are also worth mentioning as they did 1.3 million and 875k buys. He also had a boxing match with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather which did 4.3 million buys! This makes McGregors only boxing match the highest selling PPV in boxing history. He also holds almost 37 million Instagram followers.
