At number 5 is the former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. Despite using a lot of striking in his fights Jones is still an exceptional wrestler. In his UFC career, he has been taken down only twice once by Daniel Cormier and once by Alexander Gustaffson. Jones has a 95% takedown defence and a 44% takedown accuracy. He also averages 1.85 takedowns per fight. Jones has also taken down former Olympic wrestler Daniel Cormier three times in their first fight. Jones could probably be even higher on this list if he used his grappling more.

4. Henry "The Messenger" Cejudo

At number 4 is Olympic champion Henry Cejudo. Cejudo won the 2008 wrestling Olympic gold medal. He was also the UFC's flyweight and bantamweight champion. He has since retired after defeating Dominick Cruz in May 2020. Cejudo has a 93% takedown defence rate and 33% takedown accuracy. He also averages 2.12 takedowns per fight. He has only been taken down by former UFC flyweight champion Demetrius Johnson who is also a fantastic wrestler, who Cejudo himself took down 3 times in their fight. Cejudo could also be higher on this list however, he hasn't used his wrestling as dominantly as other fighters on this list.

3. Daniel "DC" Cormier
