Comedy screenwriter who sometimes writes little articles on here when feeling inspired about something or someone. Let's get weird.
If you're a member of the WWE Universe, then you totally understand just how incredible Alexa Bliss has been on-screen over the past number of months.
The once Goddess of WWE has evolved herself into this outlandish, evil character that nobody saw coming. For me personally, out of all the entertaining segments on Raw, SmackDown, or NXT this year, everything that Alexa has been apart of has been my favorite each week, and that says a WHOLE LOT.
Now I'm not going to dive into every single thing she's said or done because, quite frankly, I don't have enough time on my hands for that. However, I will talk briefly about how much respect I have for this blissful woman and the huge change that she's made.
Changing your persona within a major company like WWE and still being relevant is NOT easy to do -- at all. There have been so many that have tried, and so many of them have failed. Alexa has taken an idea, a crazy one at that, and made it into something so spectacular and over-the-top to the point where fans are just in awe of what they're witnessing. It's truly astonishing just how synced in she is within this character and it makes me think...
...as an upcoming screenwriter, this woman is PERFECT for the big screen!
Her facial expressions, her timing, and especially her delivery have all been on point and absolutely remarkable. Alexa has always been stellar on the mic (I've said in a previous article about her that she was one of the best in the business), but this role has uplifted her acting chops to such an extraordinary level. The most important aspect of a WWE personality is that they are credible, and it's clearly obvious that Alexa has made this new persona of hers ENTIRELY credible.
From her turning on her best friend Nikki Cross and well, her mentor Bray Wyatt, to then feuding with Randy freaking Orton, (Like, seriously? Randy Orton?) Alexa has grown leaps and bounds into something that none of us ever thought she would.
She's evil, she's malicious, and she's at the very top of her game. And if you haven't guessed already from this little article, I for one am loving every damn second of what she's doing.
As I said earlier, I'm an upcoming screenwriter and am hoping to be able to work with talents within the WWE on a consistent basis someday in the near future. Believe me when I tell you that Alexa Bliss is certainly on the top of that list!
I have nothing but respect and admiration for this woman -- and to avoid being asked to play or pain -- for Lilly too.
What's next for Alexa? I assume more amazing segments, more entertainment, a title run, and then who knows? Maybe a movie later on down the line!
I'm incredibly excited to find out, and I know all the fans of Alexa are too!
