How did you become an Eagles fan?
MG: It’s actually a funny story how I became an eagles fan. The Eagle/Giant rivalry is close to home, my dad is an eagles fan and my mom is a giants fan. Apparently when I was younger I was on team Giants then one day I just changed my mind. My mom never lets me forget about it.
BC: God bless you for not staying a Giants fan.
Favorite player growing up?
MG: The first player growing up that came to mind was Brian Westbrook. I always thought he was a good player with the team we had during that time period.
BC: A very great and original choice from you. A lot of people say the more well known players like McCoy, Vick, McNabb, D Jax, and so on.
Favorite game or moment?
MG: Definitely have to say that Super Bowl win was my favorite moment and watching it with my dad. He’s been a fan for so long it was pretty damn awesome to see and I’ll never forget it.
BC: Not only it was a great redemption from the loss against the Patriots but they did it with a backup QB and completed one of the most iconic plays in NFL super bowl history with the “Philly Special”.
Thoughts on NFC East rivalry?
MG: It’s hard not to love the rivalries, especially when the Eagles are in a few of them and so hated. I think they fuel the game even more, some started at the beginning and have stuck throughout history so it’s even deeper than just Super Bowl wins. It makes football interesting.
BC: Well with the way this year went there wasn’t a lot of rivalry happening.
Thoughts on the two super bowls vs the Patriots?
MG: Screw the Patriots. The win over them during the Super Bowl was probably the most satisfying feeling in the world. They put up a good fight right up to the last minute.
BC: It was an amazing game and we are glad this was the most you’ve been satisfied your entire life.
Thoughts on Carson Wentz?
MG: I’m a little biased when it comes to Carson Wentz, I think he is a great player and great for the team and great on the eyes. (I’m sorry, I told you I was a little biased. I mean look at the dude.) It just seems like he’s getting injured way too much, injuries that are not easy to come back from, which concerns me how much/long he’ll be playing.
BC: We are hoping Wentz can turn things around whether it’s with Philly or not.
Thoughts on Nick Foles?
MG: TGFNF. Thank God For Nick Foles. He really stepped it up when the Eagles needed him to. I think he’ll be good for the Bears.
BC: Fast forward to now and Nick Foles is currently the backup after losing the job to Mitch Trubisky.
Thoughts on current roster?
MG: The current team roster looks promising but curious to see how it ends up with the new 13 undrafted free agents.
BC: They were eliminated from playoff contention week 16 by the Cowboys. Funny as hell and you can not make this stuff up folks.
Thoughts on the future?
MG: Honestly, I’m just praying for the best when it comes to the future of the Eagles.
BC: The Eagles future depends on what they do with Hurts and Wentz. Once they settle that then go on from there.
We would like to thank Morgan for taking time out of her day for this interview. Make sure you follow her to stay updated on her and her store!!!!!
