The NBA Draft is tomorrow as the cycle for the new NBA season has begun!!!!!! There could be a lot of movement for this draft as potential trades can shake up the draft. We will be previewing the NBA Draft Lottery and what each team needs and who we think should be their best draft pick. This will be done without trades.

1st Pick Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons finished 20-52 last season and was last in the eastern conference.

The Detroit Pistons finished 20-52 last season and was last in the eastern conference.

Besides Jerami Grant having a good season and youngsters like Killian Hayes, Isaiah Stewart, and Saddiq Bey having a decent stretch near the end of the season the season for Detroit was a disappointment. They let Blake Griffin go and he performed better on Brooklyn then in Detroit. For Detroit they should draft the best available player since they have holes everywhere.

Pistons Select: Cade Cunningham G from Oklahoma State

2nd Pick Houston Rockets

The Rockets finished 17-55 last year with the worst record in the league.

The Rockets finished 17-55 last year with the worst record in the league.

The Rockets had a very tough season as they started out with James Harden drama but eventually traded him to Brooklyn as they began to start their rebuild process. They had pieces such as John Wall, Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr this year but finished last. They had players like Victor Oladipo and DeMarcus Cousins but didn't last long with the team. Wood started off hot but eventually cooled down and went through some injuries. Now they look to rebuild with this year's number two pick. We believe they will pick the best available as well.

Houston Rockets Select: Jalen Green G G League Ignite

3rd Pick Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers finished 22-50 with the 13th best record in the East.

The Cavaliers finished 22-50 with the 13th best record in the East.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to struggle with life without LeBron James but they saw a lot of promise and made some moves. They moved on from Andre Drummond but they saw great play from their guards Darius Garland and Collin Sexton. Plus they added Jarett Allen for the year from Brooklyn so if Allen stays this young core for Cleveland could be promising. Sexton could be on the move though so who knows what Cleveland is thinking at the moment. We believe with the moving Drummond and uncertainty if they keep Jarrett Allen they draft a big.

Cleveland Cavaliers Select: Evan Mobley C USC

4th Pick Toronto Raptors

The Raptors finished 27-45 to give them the 12th best record in the East.

The Raptors finished 27-45 to give them the 12th best record in the East.

The Raptors missed the playoffs this year as it looks like they miss Kawhi more and more each year. They saw Fred Van Vleet perform very well but also saw Pascal Siakim under perform. We also could have seen Kyle Lowry's last season as a Raptor. They also did not play at home this season as all their home games were played in Florida due to Corona. Hopefully they can play back at home next year because it looked like they really missed their fans. With Kyle Lowry gone expect this team to get a guard to replace him.

Toronto Raptors Select: Jalen Suggs G Gonzaga

5th Pick Orlando Magic

Magic finished 21-51 last season as they finished with the 14th best record in the East.

Magic finished 21-51 last season as they finished with the 14th best record in the East.

The Orlando Magic are officially in rebuild mode again. They moved on from players like Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, and their star C Nikola Vucevic. They are back to the drawing board but their pick last year guard Cole Anthony showed some flashes so it will be up to him to get the Magic on track. We see them grabbing a forward here to try to replace Gordon and to hold themselves until Jonathan Issac is back.

Orlando Magic Select: Scottie Barnes F Florida State

6th Pick Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder finished 22-50 last season with the 14th best record in the West.

The Thunder finished 22-50 last season with the 14th best record in the West.

The Oklahoma City Thunder did a lot last season to help their treasure chest of picks. They saw their best player in Shai Gilgeous Alexander go down late in the season and then held him out to prevent further injury. They traded for Kemba Walker and the 17th pick in the draft and sent Al Horford and Moses Brown to Boston. We see them adding a forward since they look decent and guard.

Oklahoma City Thunder Select: Jonathan Kuminga F G League Ignite

7th Pick Golden State Warriors

The Warriors finished 39-33 with the 9th best record in the West.

The Warriors finished 39-33 with the 9th best record in the West.

The Warriors barely missed the playoffs as they saw Ja Morant end their season in the Play In Game. Fast forward to now they have two lottery picks the 7th and 14th pick in the draft. They also will hopefully have Klay next season so expect GS to be busy this offseason. They have Draymond and James Wiseman so we expect them to boost up their guard depth a bit.

Golden State Warriors Select: Davion Mitchell G Baylor

8th Pick Orlando Magic

The Magic have two picks in the draft lottery with the 5th and 8th pick.

The Magic have two picks in the draft lottery with the 5th and 8th pick.

The Magic also have two picks in the draft lottery. We see them drafting a guard after drafting a forward with their first draft lottery pick.

Orlando Magic Select: James Bouknight G Connecticut

9th Pick Sacramento Kings

The Kings finished 31-41 last season to claim the 12th best record in the West.

The Kings finished 31-41 last season to claim the 12th best record in the West.

The Kings had a usual Kings season with them under performing and even had some drama with Marvin Bagley and whether or not he will be on the team for much not longer. Their lone bright spots were their guards in their best player De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield and their former rookie Tyrese Haliburton. C Richaun Holmes also had a good season but mostly disappointment again for Sac Town. We expect them to get a defender since they had one of the worst defenses in the leagues.

Sacramento Kings Select: Keon Johnson G Tennessee

10th Pick New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans finished with a 31-41 record to finish with the 11th best record in the West.

The Pelicans finished with a 31-41 record to finish with the 11th best record in the West.

The Pelicans missed the playoffs once again. Zion and Brandon Ingram did decent but the rest of the supporting class didn't show up. We liked the combo of Zion and Steven Adams but it did not work out last season. In our opinion the Pelicans need some more shooting around Zion.

New Orleans Pelicans Select: Moses Moody G Arkansas

11th Pick Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets finished 33-39 last year with the 10th best record in the East.

The Hornets finished 33-39 last year with the 10th best record in the East.

The Hornets showed some flashes here and there and even made it to the play in games but lost and missed their chance for the playoffs. Miles Bridges, PJ Washington, Terry Rozier and others were great complementary pieces to Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball. They have good guards and forwards so look for them to establish that depth.

Charlotte Hornets Select: Josh Giddey G/F Australia

12th Pick San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs finished 10th in the West with a 33-39 record.

The Spurs finished 10th in the West with a 33-39 record.

The San Antonio Spurs missed the playoffs again as they moved on and bought out forward LaMarcus Aldridge. Guards Derrick White and Dejounte Murray played well and center Jakob Poetl played well. Derrick White didn't get to finish the season but played well. Look for them to add some big man depth with the loss of Aldridge.

San Antonio Spurs Select: Isaiah Jacksion F Kentucky

13th Pick Indiana Pacers

The Pacers finished 9th this year in the East with a 34-38 record.

The Pacers finished 9th this year in the East with a 34-38 record.

The Pacers had an up and down season as they eventually missed the playoffs. They moved on from Victor Oladipo but got a promising player in Caris Levert who avoided cancer thanks to the trade. Domantas Sabonis was their best player while their center Myles Turner dealt with injury that had him miss the closing part of the season. The Pacers need some forward depth so expect them to go there in the draft.

Indiana Pacers Select: Franz Wagner F Michigan

14th Pick Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have the 7th and 14th pick in the draft lottery this year.

The Warriors have the 7th and 14th pick in the draft lottery this year.

The Warriors also need some big man depth even if James Wiseman stays on the team so expect them to go there.

Golden State Warriors Select: Ziaire Williams F Stanford
