How'd you find out about the Spurs?

BS: As a child, I was never really into watching sports. I remember one day where I went to my grandparents house and my grandpa was watching the Spurs play on tv. That was his favorite basketball team and after that day they became my favorite team as well.

BC: Every sports fan has their stories and reasons why they are a fan of a certain team or teams. Most of fans become fans through their family and this is a classic case of that. The memories you make with your families including sports are those you remember as a lifetime.

First reaction when you saw them play?

BS: When I first saw the Spurs play, I focused on the colors of their jerseys rather than the way they were playing. I thought "Their team colors are black, gray, and white so I'll be able to have any of my outfits match if I get any of their merch"

BC: Like we said earlier people have their reasons of becoming fans. Everyone has different reasons whether how big or small they are. Having a team with your favorite colors are also a very good reason including fashion wise.

We know the exact two items Brian is talking about but couldn't find them online.

Favorite Spurs game?

BS:My favorite Spurs game is game 5 of the 2014 playoffs where they defeated the Heat. I had a rivalry going on with one of my homies from high school because his favorite team is the Heat. I was very happy that my team not only won the playoffs but also beat his team lol.

BC: The two year rivalry between the Heat and Spurs in the finals was a fun one. So many names involved that made this rivalry so much fun. Plus having someone you know that is on the opposite side of this rivalry is even better. The trash talk after each of these games sound legendary.

The Spurs beat the Lebron led Heat in the finals in 2014 4 games to 1.

Team's biggest regret?

BS: I believe we handled the Kawhi situation all wrong. I still wish he was a part of the Spurs but at the end of the day he did what was best for him and I can't be mad at that. He helped the Spurs win a championship and I can't thank him enough and wish him the best.

BC: The Spurs did handle the Kawhi situation wrong and at the end of the day it was best for both sides to part ways. After leaving the Spurs he won a championship with Toronto and is now in LA with Paul George looking to win a championship for LA.

Kawhi decided he wanted out of San Antonio after claiming the Spurs treated his injury wrong.

Team's biggest addition?

BS: That one is easy!!!!! It's obviously one of the greatest power forwards of all time in Tim Duncan. This man is the greatest player in Spurs history and will always be. His number will be retired and he will be a first ballot hall of famer no doubt.

BC: We completely agree. There is not a lot that's already been said about Timmy D. So we will just say this. Tim Duncan will go down as the best power forward of all time and will be a first ballot hall of famer. NO QUESTION OR DEBATE!!!

Thoughts on Gregg Poppovich?

BS:Gregg Popovich is an OG. He has definitely seen a lot change throughout his years with the Spurs. He has guided his team through all kinds of challenges to multiple championships. Popovich really seems like a great guy on and off the court.

BC: He is hands down the greatest coach in the league right now. Ever since Phil Jackson stepped down and retired Gregg took the reigns as the best coach in the league. A lot of players AND coaches outside of the Spurs look up to the guy not only as a coach but as a stand up individual as well. He is not only a great coach but a great person as well.

Thoughts on Duncan, Ginobli, Parker?

BS:Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli were some of the Spurs greatest players. When I first started to watch the Spurs play, these were the guys that really stood out to me because you can see that they were hard working players who had a lot of fun playing the game together. The Spurs would not have been the same team without them.

BC: These guys are hands down one of the best trios we have seen during the 2000s. They are so unselfish and willing to get each other involved so much it is scary. Plus they are even unselfish with players outside their big three. A lot of coaches would have loved to get these three but Pop was fortunate enough to have them.

Thoughts on the Kawhi situation?

BS: Like I said earlier the Spurs mishandled Kawhi's injury and broke trust with him leading him to ask for a trade. That sent him to Toronto and DeMar Derozan to the Spurs.

BC: Like we said earlier it was time to move on. Plain and simple. It was better to trade Kawhi then to let him walk and get nothing in return team wise.

After failing to salvage their relationship with Kawhi they traded him to the Raptors.

Predictions for the season?

BS: To be honest, I have not been keeping up on the Spurs at all this season. I know that makes me a bad fan lol I'll have to do better. I am always wishing them the best and hoping for more championships!

BC: They finished the season in the bubble and missing the playoffs. They are clearly not the Spurs of old and will look to make some changes to hopefully restart their playoffs streak. Also it depends on how much longer Gregg Poppoivch will coach.

The Spurs will be looking to rebound after missing the playoffs after numerous playoff trips.
