Stephen Curry

If you talk about basketball, you talk about Steph. His shooting is just insane, as insane as his other abilities but it's just from whole another world. Who ever thought that a man with a golf player sized body and a bat vision can ever be this far in the greatest basketball league of all time? I mean, his earliest career doesn't even reflect the G.O.A.T-ness but in the end, he proved it wrong.

Wait, but do you know how was his track records in his earliests? If not, here they were.

Not so appealing, is it? I mean yes the field goal, free throw, and three point percentages were dope but the bravery that Steph had was not at that level that his point stat was descent. Nowadays? Here are how the G.O.A.T performs!

He is an Assist King

G.O.A.T. is the one who is not only amazing, but also can do something everyone can't. That means besides being great at some skills, it has to master skills that is unusual. But what to keep in mind is, it has to be able to conquer regular skills.

If a G.O.A.T simply reflects by a speciality, NBA will not be that entertaining. Since NBA is not only a sport, but also an entertaining sport, the G.O.A.T is the one that entertains the most. In NBA, G.O.A.T is the one who can make your head spins because of their performance and in this article we will split the ability into two grand categories which are defense and offense.

Defense is a player's ability to neglect opponents from scoring and offense is a player's ability to help the team to score against the opponents.

Offense in this case is split into two, which is assist and points. A G.O.A.T has to be able to do both. First we will spot its assist.

Not a great one comparing to the real king, John Stockton but his performance has shown top tier performances. If we convert the assist to an average game performance, it will take part in at least 14 points a game every 6 assists made which means that if Curry makes the average of 23 points per game with 6 assists, Curry contributes to 37 points per game average. What makes it greater is Curry nowadays looks sharper with its assists which is proven by the last 10 games (by 26th February, 2022). He has made an average of 7.6 assists per game in hist last 10 games. It's a number that if is translated into points means that Curry contributes to 18 more points. which makes it great!

We can not say Curry is an assist G.O.A.T, but surely he is one of the best assister in the world. Moreover if you look at his style of passing which frequently shows greatness and style with his signature behind the back pass. Nowadays he adds more spices, like performing no look passes and between the leg passes. Here are his highlights.

He is a Drive Madness

With his not so big body, Curry has proven that it makes him agile. We can look at his games that he performed moves which are out of the world.

At first i honestly thought that he was just a sniper, just that. Since if we took a step back to 2017 season, we could see that Durant dominated the court while Curry was just shooting and sniping, but we can see nowadays that it is totally not true. Curry is just a beast with his dribbles. He can use his body and feet aggresively while still dribbling with his hands. What makes him scared by his friends are his behind the back transitions. He can turn a regular dribble to a behind the back situation.

When he sees that it's the time to hide the ball, he snaps the ball behind and makes it impossible to be stolen. That's what he also does when he drives.

He is not a real god with no mistake. He sometimes slumps. But when he slumps, he uses other trick and that is driving.

Look at his number of attempt, its a massive amount even comparing to centers like Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic and his accuracy too is pretty good comparing to them. It shows that Steph is a drive madness and that's why he is so deadly for his contenders and here are some of his clips.

And besides that, he is also a deadly shooter with really awesome crazy stats and that's why

People Call Him 'The One Timed Sniper'

He is really famous for his acrobatic 3 points and not just that, his snipes too are also accuratet! Acrobatic without accuracy is rice without salts, but Steph looks really tempting!

"If he shoots, it's not gonna be a great news!" Shaq said. What are his actual shooting stats? Here we go!

Look? His shooting stats are always great. He even took some beautiful shots to make Golden State Warriors won like his full-court buzzer beater shot vs Spurs in 2019. It was once said that "Half-court contests are free throw practices for Steph" and that was true!

On his half-court contest performance this year, he scored 71% of his shots which is higher than the sum of point that the other scored. Not only that, his defense too is dope!

His Defense Too Is on Another Level for PGs

Many PGs focus on offensive purposes only while if translated in soccer term, 'guard' means defensive businesses. Curry really takes that seriously and has a great defensive stats with steal average stats are more than 1.0 per game and even he had ever achieved the best in the league with 2.1 steals per game in 2015-16 regular season.

His not-so-long-hands sometimes shocks his contenders. When a player passes, his not-so-long-hands work hard to reach it with a jump and succeed.

If you look at his recent games, you can see the defense brought by Curry, moreover GSW is currently missing Draymond so Curry becomes one major part. When Curry defends, few can pass over him even a big man like Davis. Here are his steal clips.

That's Curry and all his greatness! Maybe eleven years in the future, you or me could be the next, or you don't like Steph? Nah, impossible. Let's take a quick question!
