6. Splish Splash, New York

 Splish Splash is located just one hour from New York City and has about 30 different rides to entertain everyone in the family. Cliff Diver is the best ride in the park which is a speed slide that drops the riders at an amazing 55 miles per hour speed. Children and toddlers are guaranteed to have loads of fun in rides like Elephant Slide and Octopus Pool. Everyone will love the stars of “Close Encounter of the Bird Kind,” that are four funny parrots. If Cliff Diver is too much thrill for you, you can try the Monsoon Lagoon, the park's interactive water play structure or the smaller Max Trax speed slides. It features a galleon-themed bucket that periodically dumps a load of water on its completely drenched visitors making into the list of best water parks in America.

7. Raging Waters, California

 Raging Waters are located in three places -  Sacramento, San Jose and San Dimas, and it features more than 25 exhilarating water attractions, breath-taking slides, crystal clear pools and fun-filled activities for children and adults of all ages. Thrill slides include favorites such as, Cannonball Falls, Hurricane, Cliffhanger Speed Slides, Breaker Beach Wave Pool and the Shark Attack Waterslide complex. Those park goers in the mood for more chill than thrills can cool out in the tranquil waters of the Calypso Cooler Lazy River or frolic in Hooks Lagoon, a 5-story water kingdom with water slides, secret tubes and hundreds of water activities making it one of the best water parks in America.

8. Water Country Water Park in Virginia

Water cannons, slides and waterfalls are just some enjoyable things to do at Water Country in Williamsburg, Virginia. The park is located just three miles from Busch Gardens. Some of the kids rides include Minnow Matinee Theater and Kid's Kingdom, which has smaller-scale pools, fountains and water slides. Aquazoid, fun ride for toddlers, Meltdown, Big daddy falls that is so much fun for the entire family, Malibu Pipeline, that has a strong waterfall at the end of the ride that allows two people to ride together, Hubba Hubba Highway which is the most popular.

 Splashin Safari located in Santa Claus, Indiana has ZOOMbabwe - World's tallest enclosed water slide, Zinga funnel ride, Jungle Racer 10-person racing slides, Watubee family raft slide, Otorongo enclosed speed slides, a Monsoon Lagoon interactive water play and slide area enjoyed by kids.
