Beautiful Women From The World Of Female Boxing
To put it mildly, boxing is a pretty rough sport.
It's hard to stay beautiful with other people constantly trying to re-arrange your face.
But with it's inclusion in the 2012 Olympics, you can expect to see more and more women become interested in "The Sweet Science".
Here are a few women that have gotten into, and out of, the ring with their looks intact.
Laila Ali, the daughter of "The Greatest", boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
Laila stands five foot ten and weighs around 160 pounds.
In her first bout in December 8th, 1999, she knocked her opponent April Fowler out in the first round.
Her record stands at 24 Wins (21 knockouts, 3 decisions) 0 Losses and 0 Draws.
Laila's last fight was a win over Gwendolyn O'Neil on February 3rd, 2007.

Mia St. John
Professional female boxer, model, businesswoman, and Tae Kwon Do champion Mia St. John
Her record is 47 wins (18 knockouts), 13 losses and 2 draws.
Her last fight was a win over Christy Martin on August 14th, 2012 in Friant, California in a match for the vacant WBC female light middleweight title.
This would be the last match for both Mia and Christy as they both announced their retirements after the bout, leaving the title vacant once again.
Evidently Mia decided to change her mind about the retirement thing, because now she is scheduled to defend her WBC female light middleweight title against Molly McConnell on November 10th, 2012 in Bakersfield, California.
Maybe Mia should have stayed retired because on November 10th, 2012, she lost the WBC female light middleweight title, not to Molly McConnell, but to Tiffany Junot
Mia faced undefeated female boxer Cecilia Braekhus (21-0-0) on April 13th, 2013 and Cecilia stayed undefeated.

I just love to watch girls sweat.
I wrote a hub myself with a blurb about Laila entitled "What Guy Doesn't Love a Good Girlfight?" but that's mostly about MMA and Rowdy Ronda Rousey.
Anyway, this hub was quite stimulating.
Kelley Marks from Sacramento, California on August 27, 2012:

I remember early in Laila's career she fought the daughters of two of her fathers nemesis, Joe Frazier and George Foreman. She beat both of them soundly. I think some of boxing skills are genetic. I enjoyed reading your Hub on these splendid female athletes.
Madame X on December 19, 2009:
I can't even imagine wanting to box! But I love how in-shape these gals are - I just love it when women stay in great shape. I also had no idea so many were in to boxing. Very interesting hub :)

Despite their feminine beauty, I have no desire to be on the receiving end of a punch from one of these gorgeous female Boxers. Possibly, their punch would have less Newtons than a punch from a similar mass male Boxer. But, a women's punch is still going to hurt.
