5 Best Young Brazilian Football Players in 2019/2020 season

Brazil is known as a warehouse for talented young football players. In there, football has become their culture in their daily life. Many children have dream to becoming professional football player to improve their lives for the better. Every year, there are always young Brazilian talents who manage to play for big European teams. The price is also not cheap.

The country, which has collected 5 World Cup Champions, often produces world-class football players. Neymar, Coutinho, and Allison Becker are examples of the latest generation capable of shinning in Europe.

In the 2019/2020 season, there are several young Brazilian players who have performed well with their respective clubs. And here are 5 young Samba country players who are able to perform well in Europe.

1. Richarlison - Everton


This 23-year-old player previously shone with Watford for one season, namely in the 2017/2018 season. He was able to perform extraordinary under the tutelage of Marco Silva at that time. He packed 5 goals and 4 assists from 38 appearances in the Premier League. That is a clear proof of his prowess, even though he was only recruited for just one season from Brazilian, Fluminense. And after the coach Marco Silva changed clubs and joined Everton, Richarlison also moved to Everton in the summer of 2018 for a dowry of 45 million Euros.

This football player with a height of 179 cm is able to perform consistently during the uniform of the Toffees. 2. Douglas Luiz - Aston Villa


The midfielder who was born on May 9th 1998, first started his career in Europe was 2017. That when Manchester City signed him from club Vasco Da Gama. However, he had to be willing to be loaned out to Girona for two seasons. That because he was very young and had to compete with midfielders like Kevin Dlde Bruyne, David Silva, and Fernandinho. And in the summer of 2019, he was bought by Aston Villa because he wanted to get more playing minutes. That because if he stays in Manchester, he will obviously lose out to other players.

In the Premier league this season, he has successfully locked the position in the midfielder by packing 36 appearances and he got 3 goals and 2 assists. He is player who can play in the position of defensive midfielder, central midfielder, and attacking midfielder. He is able to adapt well to a league, which is known for its tight pressing

3. Renan Lodi - Atletico Madrid


Purchased from the Athletico Paranaense club for 20 million Euros, Atletico Madrid successfully landed a left-back, who was able to succeed Marcelo in the Brazilian national team. He was bought after coach Diego Simeone was tempted by his talent. Even though he hasn't had a full season in Los Rojiblancos uniform, he has been able to do well at Wanda Metropolitano.

His speed, tackling, and good overlapping are his main strength in play. In La Liga 2019/2020 season, he has played a total of 32 times, and packing 1 goal and 2 assists

4. Bruno Guimaraes - Olympique Lyon


Even though he only joined Lyon in the 2020 winter transfer market, he was able to seal the position of central midfielder at Lyon, and at the age of only 22 years. Imported from Athletico Paranaense, he immediately appeared fierce with the play of Rudi Garcia's team.

His tackling, intercept, and accurate passing skills are the lifeblood of team plays and become the controller or midfield leader for Les Gones.

5. Gabriel Jesus - Manchester City


The 23-year-old young striker has consistently scored goals since joining the Citizen in 2017 from Brazilian club, Palmeiras. Even though he had to compete with Sergio Aguero at the front line position, but he was not pessimistic and continued to prove his worth with Pep Guardiola's squad.

He scored a total of 14 goals and 7 assists in the 2019/2020 Premier league season.
