2021-22 UEFA Champions League Preliminary Round FC Prishtina vs SS Folgore Falciano

On June 22nd four clubs (FC Prishtina, SS Folgore Falciano, Inter Club d'Escaldes and Havnar Boltfelag) started their quest for the biggest Club trophy in Europe.

The Preliminary kicked off with FC Prishtina from Kosovo playing a match against SS Folgore Falciano of San Marino.

The San Marino(#55) Football League enters this tournament as the Lowest rated league in UEFA with only .666 coefficient points while The Kosovo(#52) Football League comes in with 4.000 coefficient points. Kosovo has be slowly climbing the rankings in their short time being a UEFA Member.

This match was played in Elbasan Arena in Albania with Joni Hyytia of Finland serving as Referee.

After a scoreless first half Endrit Krasnigi scored in the 51st minute for FC Prishtina to give them a 1-0 lead. In stoppage time Mendurim Hoti scored for FC Prishtina to seal SS Folgore Falciano fates. Final FC Prishtina 2 SS Fologore Falciano 0

2021-22 Champions League Preliminary Round Inter Club d'Escaldes vs Havnar Boltfelag

At Niko Dovana Stadium in Albania Inter Club d'Escaldes from the Andorra Football League took on Havnar Boltfelag of the Faroe Islands Soccer League.

The Andorra Football league came into this years tourney ranked #54 in UEFA standings with only a 2.831 coefficient points. The Faroe Islands came in one spot ahead ranked #53 with 3.750 coefficient points.

Joonas Joanovits of Estonia was the referee for this match and after a quiet first half and second half that started out just as quiet you never really knew when a break might happen. In the 61st minute Jordi Betriu Armengol scored for Inter Club d' Escaldes to give them a 1-0 lead. They would hold on and advance to the Preliminary final with a 1-0 win over Havnar Boltfelag.

Havnar Boltfelag will go to the UEFA Europa Conference League Champions League Patch Second Qualifying Round while Inter Club d'Escaldes keeps their Champions league dreams alive.
